Please be reminded, drainage survey works will continue at Bus Station this Sunday – noting that all usual Sunday bus services will continue to operate from the station.
The continuing work – from 8am-4pm on October 11 – will ensure the site’s drainage is working effectively, and will inform any future repairs that are found to be needed.
This is the second of two work shifts planned for consecutive Sundays, with the first part of the drainage survey being completed last weekend (October 4).
The survey has been arranged across two Sundays to minimise disruption, as far fewer services operate from the station on Sundays in comparison to the rest of the week.
Please note, while all usual Sunday services will operate, they might not arrive/depart from their usual stand. Bus users are advised to give themselves a small amount of extra time before their journey departs to locate the relevant bus.
All usual accesses to nearby residential properties and the Goods Yard Car Park will be maintained as normal.
The Council has appointed Arch Services Ltd as the contractor to deliver the works, on behalf of the RCT Streetcare Team.
Meanwhile, a future investment project is being developed for the wider Pontypridd Bus Station site, informed by a recent consultation with the public. Keep an eye out for a future announcement outlining these improvements, and the works required to deliver them.
