📢 Funding Opportunity for Food Projects in Rhondda Cynon Taf

The RCT Food Partnership, in collaboration with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, is making £69,000 of capital funding available to projects working to improve the local food system across Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Organisations can apply for funding to purchase physical assets such as equipment, storage facilities, vehicles, white goods, building improvements, vending machines and other infrastructure that will help strengthen local food initiatives.

Projects should demonstrate how they will contribute to at least two of the following aims:

🍎 Championing Food Equity
🌱 Regenerating Soils & Farms
🤝 Building Food Community
🥗 Inspiring Healthy Diets
💷 Strengthening the Food Economy
♻️ Reducing Waste

This funding programme will take an innovative participatory approach, encouraging organisations to work collaboratively rather than competitively. Successful applicants will be invited to take part in a participatory budgeting session on 21 July, helping to shape how funding is allocated to maximise collective impact.
