On Friday, May 15th, 2026, Ken Cribley from Police Service provided attendees of our 5th Victims and Survivors of Crime Week Breakfast with a brief overview of their new Child Abuse and Sexual Assault (CASA) unit. Ken described CASA's purpose, history, and accomplishments to date. CASA consists of several constables who specifically investigate crimes committed against the most vulnerable.

WECYAC would like to thank Ken and the members of the CASA unit for their unwavering commitment to children and youth who have been impacted by crime in Windsor-Essex.

WECYAC's primary referral sources for forensic interviews are police and/or child protection workers. In addition, WECYAC also accepts self and/or caregiver referrals and will collaborate with police and child protection to schedule a forensic interview.
