Join us on the first Wednesday of every month for Caboto’s Club Charity Pasta Nights 2026!!

For just $16, you’ll enjoy a hearty meal (pasta, salad, buns & butter, and coffee or tea), with proceeds supporting essential local nonprofits, shelters, and community groups.

Our next Pasta Night is September 2nd 2026, in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex.

Today, on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we stand with survivors and raise awareness about the realities of human trafficking.

This year's theme, "Trapped Behind the Scam," highlights the growing exploitation of people who are trafficked and forced into online scams and financial fraud.

At Hiatus House, we're committed to building awareness and strengthening responses to human trafficking. Our A Guide for Shelter Professionals Working with Survivors of Human Trafficking provides practical, trauma-informed guidance to help professionals recognize the signs of exploitation and support survivors with compassion. Last Thursday, we gathered for our Healing Garden Dedication Ceremony to honor the lives we have lost within our community and to remember those whose lives were taken through femicide as a result of intimate partner violence.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event so meaningful. Your support created a space for remembrance, healing, and hope.

We are especially grateful to the survivors and loved ones who courageously shared their stories. A special thank you to our four incredible speakers; Fartumo, Mary, Lisa, and Theresa, for courageously sharing their powerful and deeply moving stories.

This beautiful dedication would not have been possible without the generous donation from the Greater Windsor Horticultural Society. We are truly grateful for your support in helping create a lasting space for remembrance and healing. 💜
