Our YQG Kids Summer Pack Fundraising brought out the very best of our students. Each class set out to fill bags with snacks, activities, and books for kids right here in our downtown - and they crushed their goals with heart and teamwork.

And because they reached 100+ packs… our principals held up their end of the deal. Watch Mrs. Preston and Mrs. Boycott spend the day as students: fully committed, Hawaiian outfits and all!

Something special is coming, and you won't want to miss it. Maranatha Christian Academy turned 40 this year, and we are marking this milestone with a one-of-a-kind anniversary yearbook. Every student from JK to Grade 12, our incredible staff, and the special events that made this year unforgettable are all captured inside.

Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends of the family, this is a beautiful way to hold onto this chapter of the journey. Our Panthers are growing in wisdom, in character, and in faith, and this book tells that story.

Today we celebrate something truly special — Nick is officially an OFSAA First‑Place Champion with two gold medals for 800m and 1500m!

This achievement reflects countless hours of training, resilience, and passion. Our entire school community is proud beyond words. Congratulations, Nick — you’ve inspired us all.

We had another student, Malachi, at OFSAA! He started the day with a very competitive javelin throw and finished 11th. Great job, Malachi, we are so proud of you!

Thank you Jesus for a great sports season this year! All glory to the Lord!

Track and Field Day at the University of Windsor
What a day at the Southwest District Christian School Track Meet!

Maranatha had the honour of hosting schools from across the region, welcoming athletes from Sarnia Christian, Chatham Christian, South Shore Christian, and John Knox Christian Schools to the University of Windsor.

Our athletes showed up and showed out, competing with heart, integrity, and respect for one another and for every event supervisor who made the day possible. That is what representing Christ looks like.

Congratulations to Chatham Christian School on taking home the championship banner, and a big well done to our Maranatha athletes who earned a second place finish.

We are especially proud to celebrate two new Southwest District records set by MCA athletes: Imani O. set the girls’ 11-year-old 100m record with a time of 13.1s, and Marilyn G., Zamhe A., Esther X., and Hannah M. broke the girls’ 9/10-year-old relay record with a time of 1:02.21.

Records and ribbons aside, we are grateful to every student who competed, every volunteer who served, and every school that joined us. Days like this remind us why we do what we do.

Panthers win WECSSAA "A" Track and Field Championship!

The Panthers took to the track last week at the WECSSAA Track and Field Championship. The team of 18 athletes performed well all meet, with many athletes achieving personal bests and top 8 SWOSSAA qualifying finishes. Nicklas G. led the way by winning the novice boys 400m, 800m and 1500m while teammate Omari O. won the novice boys 100 m dash! Bolstered by more strong performances by Andrew M. (distance) and Malachi D. (throws), the novice boys team outscored every other novice boys team in the competition!

Amazingly, the Panthers swept all six of the age group "A" team championships on route to winning the "A" overall team title! A great showing for Panthers Track and Field! We are looking forward to more great results from SWOSSAA next week!
