Vancouver Rabbit Rescue and Advocacy Vancouver Rabbit Rescue & Advocacy is a registered charity and a chapter of the House Rabbit Society, a non-profit rabbit rescue and education organization.

We take in abandoned, neglected and unwanted rabbits. They are given medical attention, care and love. All our adoptable rabbits are vaccinated and neutered or spayed. We then find them loving homes. They are cared for as long as necessary.

Please note: our store pick up falls on Rabbit Festival so we will be bringing orders as usual. Hay is very bulky and difficult to transport and store. And we have to use several cars to get it there along with all the other festival stuff. So please, if you order hay, make it one or two bags and not 4 or 5. Just for this time, please. If you live far away and can't get to us soon then we understand. 😊

🎉 We are so excited to share that the first baby from Pi's big litter has found a home!

Wade is an adorable little bunny who made a very special connection with the family that came to meet him. After their meet and greet, they knew they had found the right bunny for them!

If you are looking for a young, social, and active companion, don't overlook these little cuties! They are all super lovely 🥰

Planning to book a checkup or a little grooming for your bun at Rabbit Festival? We’re so excited to offer these services again! 💛

📧 To reserve your spot, email [email protected]! (not our normal hop-up email!)

⏰ **Please arrive on time or a little early for your appointment.** Rabbit Festival gets very busy, and if you miss your appointment time, you may be skipped and lose your spot.

🐇 Walk-in appointments will be limited and cannot be guaranteed, so we highly recommend booking in advance!

💛 Minimum donations:
🩺 Vet appointments: $20
✂️ Grooming appointments: $10

🎉 JORDIE & JACK HAVE FOUND THEIR HOME

There are SO many things we are all thankful for here at VRRA, but we couldn't let this day go by without celebrating these two long-term residents finding their forever family. 💕

These two handsome boys were transfered to us from SARC and have waited nearly 2 and a half years to be chosen by their perfect people. We couldn't be happier for them!

We are thankful for all of you!! For our volunteers, supporters, fosters and adopters.

But we are extra thankful for those willing to look past the initial shyness, those who allow bunnies to take their time and come out of their shell, those who consider our long-term residents, those who understand that most bunnies are happier with a friend, and those who will give our grey, brown, black, and REW buns the chance that they so very much deserved.

So if that is you, please know how much we appreciate what you have done for the special bunnies in your life!

🌟 Flashback Friday 🌟 to when our handsome chocolate-brown bunny Oliver was.... just a little, tiny baby 🥹

This cutie is one of the baby's from our big litter earlier this year and is the son of Pi.

His eye has been bothering him a bit, so one of our experienced medical fosters has been giving him regular eye drops, as prescribed by one of the amazing bunny vets we see.

It has been so amazing to watch these babies grow!!

Keep an eye out for Oliver, as he may be ready for adoption soon, once he is medically cleared! 🥰

Our little lop boys are cuter than ever and have been settling in well at their temporary foster. Now that we've learned more about their medical needs, we are specifically looking for a foster that can give one of them eye drops on a daily basis. So if that sounds like something you'd be comfortable with, please fill out a foster application! 🩵💙

Thank you so much to those that have applied!! Please know that our team in charge of fostering is relatively small and we are getting back to people and scheduling interviews as soon as we are able. 🙂

Rough is the lighter of the two bunnies. He is vaccinated and in excellent health.

Tumble is the darker grey bun and he has a corneal ulcer, requiring daily eyedrops. His eye is starting to heal already but he will need a diligent foster that is able to continue his medical care, as these types of ulcers can be challenging to clear up. He will also need to be taken to the vet for rechecks down the road.

They are otherwise very healthy! As for their personalities, they are sweet as pie, very friendly and social, and fairly easy to handle when needed (like for eye drops)! We can't wait for these boys to find their forever home once Tumble is medically cleared!

❤ In-store Shop/Pick up Online orders. Place your orders using our online shop with the link in our bio.
All pre-orders must be placed before TOMORROW at 8pm!

GROOMING UPDATE: Sage is taking a well-deserved break from grooming with us for a while and booking will now be through VRRA's email: [email protected]

PLEASE NOTE: All rabbits in attendance of the Hoppy Hour pen must be neutered/spayed and vaccinated. In order to keep the Hoppy Hour pen safer, we may remove aggressive rabbits from the pen.

We've got some new faces on the block!

Sophie is our fluffy new intake under current medical care. It takes a lot to keep that beautiful coat of hers soft, gorgeous, and tangle free. 💕

Wylie was picked up as a very cute but very scared little stray. We're happy he is now with us and he has become extremely affectionate as he's settled in. He's just been neutered and is ready to find his forever family! 💙

Luna was another fairly recent medical intake. She had a bot fly that had turned into an abscess, which needed regular flushing and cleaning. Thanks to one of our amazing fosters and their dedication to her care, this little girl is thriving and healthy now! 💛

Biscuit is an orange little bunny who so kindly agreed to pose with some Halloween decor! He is currently on medical and dental watch to ensure he doesn't require any extra care in that department before being cleared for adoption. 🤎

Lastly our sweet little Gloria is already stealing hearts at the shelter. She is a little dwarf cross that was picked up in Richmond in a bad area for bunnies. She has sugar, a little spice, and everything nice!! 🤍

We truly wish we could help every bunny in need, but we are thankful for the fosters and adopters that allows us to keep helping bunnies when we can!

The softest, sweetest, rex bunny is waiting patiently for someone to notice him and scoop him up... 👀

This handsome fellow is an absolute gentleman with the ladies and very affectionate! We're hoping there is a sweet middle-aged girl bunny out there waiting for her prince charming! 👑 That would be Omar for sure!

It is hard to see senior bunnies return to us after living happy lives in their adoptive homes for many years, but rest assured, this boy wasn't returned due to any fault of his own. He is resilient and looking for a second chance with a loving, committed family.

You'd never guess he was a senior bun from his active demeanour! He is clean & tidy, loving & social, well-behaved & gentle. You literally couldn't ask for a more perfect boy! 💙 Apply for this gentle-bun today by filling out an application on our webiste!
