Elisabeth did it! 🌲

Today, as part of Elektra’s Annual Fundraising Challenge, Elisabeth completed her trail run/climb on the Sunshine Coast.

Her goal was to climb more than 700 metres while trail running in support of Elektra – and today she made it happen.

Thank you, Elisabeth, for your determination, energy, and commitment to the Challenge.

Katherine Duncan did it! ⛰️

Today, as part of Elektra's Annual Fundraising Challenge, Katherine completed the Grouse Grind in an impressive 1 hour and 22 minutes — 11 minutes faster than her practice climb just one week ago.

One of Katherine's personal goals this year was to take on the Grouse Grind, and we're thrilled to celebrate her achievement. Congratulations!

A big milestone for Team Elektra! 🎉

This morning, participants gathered at Deer Lake Park to complete the Burnaby portion of Elektra’s Annual Fundraising Challenge.

Congratulations to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, and cheered along the way. After weeks of training and fundraising, it was wonderful to see the team come together in support of Elektra’s artistic and community work.

The Challenge isn’t over yet. Participants are still completing challenges elsewhere, and Janet’s half marathon takes place on June 28.

Thanks to everyone who has already supported Elektra’s Annual Fundraising Challenge, we’ve now surpassed our $11,000 goal – and the total stands at more than $12,000.

Participants have been training, fundraising, and inspiring us for weeks. Several have already completed their challenges, while others are taking theirs on today at Deer Lake Park, on the Sunshine Coast, and on the North Shore.

And the Challenge continues beyond today, with Janet’s half marathon still to come on June 28.

Let’s see how far we can go and help Elektra finish the season even stronger.

Thanks to everyone who has already supported the Challenge, you’ve helped Elektra exceed its $11,000 goal – and the total now stands at more than $12,500.

Maggie is our newest participant and will be taking on a 5 km challenge at Deer Lake Park on June 20.
