All summer long, Toronto Outdoor Picture Show is "Going Places" – won't you come too?

This year's Going Places programme explores everything from travel within cities, across countries, and into the wilderness, to voyages made across land, sea, space, and time.

🚲 We invite you to meander through the city to join us as we set up our traveling cinema in three Toronto parks from June - August, escaping together to a programme of journey-themed films under the night's sky.

Join us for open-air cinema at a park near you!

And so we conclude our 15th anniversary season! We are already feeling nostalgic about this wonderful summer spent with you watching coming-of-age films and celebrating community. This summer, our programming welcomed 36,000 people, an astounding 10 thousand more than last year! Thank you for making our milestone birthday such a memorable one.

💚 Last weekend, we closed the curtain with two evenings of modern-day Shakespeare adaptations on the hill at Christie Pits, the perfect conclusion to our summer, and truly a weekend that we'll remember for ages ✨

We've had the best time celebrating When We Were Young with you all summer long. We can't wait to see you again next summer for more beautiful cinema under the stars 💖

As always, Toronto Outdoor Picture Show is a grassroots charitable organization, and your donations are our most stable and meaningful source of funding. To support our charitable mission, you can make a donation at TOpictureshow.com/donate

🧡 Corktown Common, thank you for such an amazing summer of cinema together! Despite some wild weather in July (that wind storm on July 17th, anyone?), we had such a wonderful time watching movies with you on the Common. There is no better way to spend a Thursday evening than with our east-end friends, and we look forward to returning to the Common next summer for more cinema under the stars!

Don't miss the final screenings of the summer, this Saturday and Sunday at Christie Pits Park!

It was such a delight to welcome the directors & writers of the short films Chesterfield, Fish Boy, Mawtini (My Homeland), Unibrow, Haus, The Women's Hour, and Baby Shower to present their films to such warm Thursday crowds these past several weeks 💫💖
