Moishe House, a pluralistic international organization, provides meaningful Jewish experiences to young adults in their 20s and 30s. Our innovative model trains, supports and sponsors young Jewish leaders as they create vibrant home-based communities for themselves and their peers. Our approach has enabled the existing 100+ houses worldwide to engage more than 80,000 in total attendance a year. Fr

What do rum and Rambam have in common? Deep spirit!
Join us for Rum and Rambam, a fun, informal night of drinks, discussion, and discovery. The topic: “Kavanah and Kevah” — exploring the balance between fixed prayer and free-form spirituality in Judaism. We’ll sip something strong while diving into how structure and spontaneity shape the Jewish spiritual experience.
And yes, we’ll be joined by Rabbi Lara — not to be confused with our roommate Lara, who is many things but is not teaching about prayer (as far as we know).

Since the October 7 attacks, Sarah has worked tirelessly to seek justice for the victims and hold the perpetrators accountable. Sarah will share insights from her ongoing efforts and discuss findings from her latest paper, which examines Hamas' violations of the Genocide Convention.
