Part 2 of "Big Times, Hard Feelings" is here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXq_IAbRAOU

The first part of this conversation was aired last month, as Episode 3. It was focused on the layers of emotions that folks can feel about days like Canada Day and July 4th, and how youth workers and other grownups can support youth (and themselves) with those feelings.

This month, we focused on how folks can understand and support big feelings, for themselves and for youth. Especially during program! We can't always understand what someone is experiencing, but that doesn't mean we can't show up for them and help make hard stuff easier.

Congratulations to all of the incredible athletes who proudly represented their countries at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this past week!

Sport has an incredible ability to bring people together. It builds community, creates lasting connections across borders, and reminds us of what we can achieve when we play, compete, and celebrate together. Events like the Commonwealth Games are a powerful example of the impact sport can have - something we strive to make possible for children around the world every day through the power of play.

To every athlete, thank you for being inspiring role models of resilience, determination, and passion. Your dedication inspires the next generation to dream big and believe in what's possible.

And thank you to Commonwealth Sport for bringing people together through such a spectacular celebration of sport.

When organizations come together with a shared commitment to children and youth, incredible things happen.

For more than a decade, GoodLife Fitness has been a valued partner of Right To Play, helping create more opportunities for Indigenous children and youth to learn, grow, and thrive through the power of play.

Since 2015, GoodLife has contributed more than $70,000 in financial support, provided approximately $100,000 annually in in-kind memberships for Right To Play staff, and most recently donated $24,000 to support our PLAY program in Canada.

This generosity is helping provide the equipment, resources, and play-based experiences that empower children and youth to build confidence, strengthen connections, and reach their full potential.

To everyone at GoodLife Fitness—thank you for believing in the power of play and for standing alongside Indigenous communities to help create lasting change. We're proud of what we've accomplished together and excited for what's still to come.
