The Fight To End Cancer was founded in 2011. We raise funds for cancer research with proceeds going directly to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation

Founded in 2011, the Fight To End Cancer has donated over $2 million dollars, in support of cancer research, with proceeds going directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. The year-long fundraising efforts of the Fight To End Cancer are celebrated each year in an event like no other. Featuring a new group of white-collar men and women, with no prior boxing experience, Fight To End Cancer’s annual black tie gala concludes months of their intense training, in true Olympic-style boxing, and hard work in achieving personal fundraising goals. Fight To End Cancer has quickly grown to become a premium fundraiser and showcases these brave individuals, as they lace up their gloves and step into our ring to help knock out cancer. Fight To End Cancer has one core mission; to end cancer. For us, there is no other option. Our motto is simple. Defeat Is Not An Option.

Last month we hosted the tryouts for our 2027 Fight to End Cancer Fight Team. What an amazing turnout between fighter hopefuls, alumni and ambassadors and it’s here that we’re always reminded that there are so many willing to put themselves forward for a cause bigger than them!

Behind every person who showed up there is a very personal reason for being there and as a collective we help to turn that purpose into support for cancer research.

If you were unable to make the in-person tryouts we’re extending applications until October 31st so if you’ve been considering stepping into the ring for this cause, there’s still time to put your name forward!

🥊 GRAFTON APPAREL SUPPORTING THE FIGHT SINCE 2017

Looking back over the years at the continuous efforts from its employees across the country is a testament to Grafton’s dedication to the Fight to End Cancer. Since joining and starting their fundraising efforts benefitting The Princess Margarete Cancer Foundation back in 2017, they’ve raised $2.5 million and counting!

Their annual WEAR YOUR SUPPORT campaign is currently running until December 5th and through this year’s initiative they aspire to hit that $3M mark - let's help them get there.

📢 FIGHT TO END CANCER AMBASSADOR FEATURE: MARIELA BURKETT

💪🏾 This fight takes a village, and our dedicated ambassadors play a huge role for which we are eternally grateful. Raising funds year-round and hosting various events in addition to their day to day is one selfless act!

🎗️Mariela is 12 years cancer free and her “Buck-a-Burpee” campaign ($1 donation from you = 1 Burpee from her) is sitting at almost $53K and steadily climbing!

Thanks to her relentless campaigning along with the support of her network, strangers both in person and on the internet, and her annual Survivor Bootcamp, the ongoing funds go directly to the The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation

🎗️September marked the launch of Grafton Apparel’s annual Wear Your Support campaign in support of the The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation

Every year all locations nationwide participate in this fight that is bigger than them and each store hopes to raise the most funds by the end of the campaign. How can you help?

Through their unwavering support and nationwide initiatives, Grafton has contributed $2.5 million since 2017. Building on this momentum, Grafton now aspires to surpass the $3 million mark in total funds raised through the 2026 campaign.

PS: As an official fighter for the Fight to End Cancer you have a few very important roles. Between the endless hours of training and fundraising you attend a few fun events with one being the official media day and unofficial weigh-in. This is just a taste of fight night, and the fighter face-offs are priceless!

Our amazing 2025 Fight Team last year on tour at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation learning about the Guided Therapeutics (GTx) Program from the wonderful doctors and scientists who work around the clock behind the scenes.

One of the fighter roles is to raise funds and this tour allows you to see exactly where the fundraising dollars go, tour the facilities and ask questions or go deeper into any related topics.

🥊🎗️Fight To End Cancer Seeks Toronto’s Next Team of Charity Boxers!

Official tryouts and information session takes place Saturday Sept 26 - 12:30PM - 265 Norseman Street.

No previous boxing experience is necessary for those hoping to join the charity gala team. In fact, applicants for the gala team must not have previously competed in boxing or another martial art.

Those selected will spend the months ahead learning to box while taking on an equally important challenge outside the ring: raising funds and awareness for cancer research.

Grafton apparel launched their 2026 “Wear Your Support” campaign this month and as a proud Presenting Partner of the Fight to End Cancer since 2014, they have consistently gone above and beyond, finding innovative ways to champion the cause and fight cancer year-round.

We are forever grateful!

This past week they had the official launch at the GTx Celebration (Guided Therapeutics Program) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. The GTx program helps surgeons target and kill cancerous cells, while salvaging the normal surrounding cells which improves patient survival and enhances quality of life.

Through to December 5, 2026, visit any Tip Top, George Richards Big & Tall, or Mr. Big & Tall Menswear location across Canada to support the 2026 Wear Your Support campaign benefiting the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
