Get REAL Combatting 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination, racism, and bullying in schools, summer camps, and workplaces. What is Get REAL?

Get REAL is a Canadian non-profit organization. Our mission is to combat 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination, racism & bullying in schools, summer camps, and workplaces. We accomplish this through our two core areas of focus:

Education: offering Inclusivity, Anti-Racism, and Trans 101 Workshops for students, teachers, parents, and workplaces, and by producing online and in-person resources, including curric

ulum pieces, posters, videos, and merchandise, and through:

Leadership development and youth support: through our University Chapter, High School After-School, and 2SLGBTQ+ Virtual Counselling Programs. Our programming aims to break down prejudice, promote unity, and foster compassion in our world. For all bookings and speaking engagements:

Today, we are highlighting the brave LGBT Purge survivors and activists. The LGBT Purge was one of the largest and longest-running human rights violations in Canadian workplace History. The LGBT Purge is remembered not only as a painful chapter in Canadian history, but also as a powerful example of how activism and courage can create lasting change. 🙌🏽✊🏾
