The Terry Fox Run in CityPlace is a proud annual tradition that unites our community to honour Terry Fox’s legacy while raising vital funds for cancer research. This event is organized on a $0 budget—every detail is made possible through the generosity of community supporters and volunteers. Over the years, thousands of participants from CityPlace and beyond have joined us, making this one of the most meaningful gatherings in our neighbourhood. THE MIRACLE MILE
The Terry Fox Miracle Mile, created by Douglas Coupland, pays tribute to Terry’s extraordinary “Marathon of Hope.” Along the route, framed displays feature treasured mementos from the Fox family collection, celebrating Terry’s resilience and determination in the face of immense challenges.
