Adoptable Animal Presented by Amazon: Priscilla

Priscilla is such a cutie and just the sweetest girl. She has a curious spirit, a love for treats and has already shown herself to be an affectionate and eager-to-please dog! She always gets excited to see our volunteers and will greet them with her whole body wagging, eager for some attention and maybe a tasty snack or two.

On walks, Priscilla is excited to explore and does well when walked at her pace. While she's confident enough to explore quieter areas, she can get a little spooked by busy or high-traffic zones, but she settles down quickly once she's in a calmer environment. She's a quick learner, and she comes right to you when called, especially if there's a treat involved.

Priscilla really enjoys spending time outside, whether walking, playing or simply people-watching. She just enjoys being in the moment! When it's time to head back, she's easy to return back home and will happily go back inside for a good petting session.

Priscilla is a friendly and sweet-natured dog who thrives on companionship. She will need a patient family that can continue to build her confidence and help her adjust to her new routine at her own pace. She will soon blossom into the loving, loyal companion she's meant to be. Come say hi to Priscilla today!

Matilda needed urgent surgery. Humane Champions made sure she got it. ❤️

When Matilda arrived at Toronto Humane Society as a stray, she was sweet, gentle, and clearly uncomfortable.

During her intake exam, our veterinary team discovered multiple large bladder stones. She had blood in her urine, signs of infection, and was suffering from chronic irritation. Thanks to you, we didn’t have to wait or wonder how we would help her — we acted immediately.

Within days, Matilda received comprehensive diagnostics, pain management, antibiotics, IV fluids, anti-nausea medication, and life-changing surgery to remove six bladder stones, followed by close post-operative monitoring to ensure she was healing comfortably.

Just one day after surgery, she was bright, alert, wagging her tail, and seeking attention from staff.

After her recovery and a new urinary diet to help prevent future stones, we are happy to share that Matilda started her next chapter with a loving family.

Presented by ROYALE®: Goose

I really wanted to send you an update on Messi, who we renamed Goose (he wasn’t responding at all to Messi, so we figured we could rename him; and he’s starting to respond to Goose with tons of positive reinforcement!) I adopted him officially on November 19th. I just wanted to let you know how he’s doing, you were so kind and helpful and I really appreciate it! He has integrated with us so seamlessly and has been doing incredibly well!

Lilith- 6 Years 1 Month, Female
This lovely large-breed girl is all about the simple joys in life: soft places to nap, slow sniff-filled walks, and cuddles with her people. She has a calm, easygoing presence and a sweet, gentle demeanor that quickly wins hearts despite her impressive size. Meet Pipkin and Fiver, a charming bonded pair of rabbits who bring a calm and sweet presence wherever they go. Pipkin, the distinguished brown rabbit, is gentle, observant, and often the first to greet visitors with quiet curiosity, while Fiver, the sleek black rabbit, balances the duo with his sweet and inquisitive spirit. Both enjoy soft pets, quiet attention, and the comfort of each other’s company, rarely found far apart.

HK- 6 Years, Male
An all-star walking companion who is adored by volunteers and staff alike for his sweet, enthusiastic personality. This clever, treat-motivated gentleman loves learning new things, exploring the world on outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with his people whether that’s through training games, cuddles, or a relaxing petting session after a fun walk. HK may be happiest as the only dog in the home,

Manila Luzon and Magnetica- 6 Months, Male and Female
A dynamic and utterly charming bonded pair of rabbits who are ready to double the joy in your home. This sweet, social duo loves exploring together, greeting their people with curious circles and gentle requests for pets, and eagerly accepting tasty snacks like romaine lettuce and apple slices right from your hands. May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month 🦠

Lyme disease is spread through the bite of infected ticks and cases are rising across Canada, especially during warmer months when ticks are most active. That’s why protecting your pet starts earlier than you think!

While tick prevention is key, vaccines also play a critical role in keeping puppies safe as they grow.

🐶 Puppies should start their core vaccines at 6–8 weeks, with boosters every few weeks until about 16 weeks
💉 Your vet may also recommend non-core vaccines, like Lyme, based on your dog’s lifestyle
