🌎✈️ Lucas’ class is exploring the world by learning about different countries, and today it was Hungary’s turn! 🇭🇺❤️

Lucas had the opportunity to present information about Hungary to his class🥰👏

His teacher, Ms. C, was absolutely amazing and went the extra mile by bringing in delicious Hungarian desserts for the whole class to enjoy! 🍰🇭🇺 She even sent some home for us to enjoy tonight after dinner. 🥹❤️

What a thoughtful and special way to make learning come alive! Thank you, Ms. C, for making this experience so meaningful for Lucas and his classmates. 🌎📚💙

🏎️💨 Yesterday in Cayuga at Toronto Motorsports Park, we experienced the Misfits Drift Team for the first time—and damn, I’m still amazed by what I saw! 🤯🔥

It was like watching The Fast and the Furious come to life! 🏁💨 The speed, precision, and control were absolutely incredible. Watching them drift through the corners, burn rubber, and maneuver just inches from one another was unbelievable! 🛞🔥😱

Their skill, dedication, and bravery are truly unmatched. If you ever get the chance to see the Misfits Drift Team in action, GO! You won’t regret it! 🙌🏎️💨

We were also lucky enough to meet Andrew Shorkey and his amazing team. It was such an honour to meet the people behind this incredible display of talent and passion! 👏🔥

🏎️💨 What an unforgettable day yesterday in Cayuga at Toronto Motorsports Park! 🏁❤️

We are so incredibly grateful to Starlight Children’s Foundation, along with all of the amazing donors and volunteers, for making the 14th Annual Drive 4 Smiles such a special and memorable event. 💙✨

We were blown away by the race culture, incredible cars, and the excitement throughout the day! 🏎️🔥 And we even had the opportunity to co-pilot a Lamborghini around the track! 😱🏁

Lucas absolutely LOVES the speed, adrenaline, and excitement! 😂💨❤️ He is always ready for the next adrenaline-seeking adventure, while I’m just along for the ride… with a little hesitation! 🤣🙈 But seeing his excitement and huge smile makes every second worth it. ❤️

And then there was the Misfits Drift Team! 😱🔥

This was our first year seeing them, and I’m still in complete astonishment over what we witnessed! 🤯 Watching them drive full throttle, burning rubber 🛞💨🔥, drifting through corners, and passing within what looked like mere inches of each other was absolutely incredible!

The precision and skill it takes to maneuver those cars through the tight, challenging sections of the track is something you truly have to witness to appreciate. 🏎️💨🔥👏

It was such a fun-filled day surrounded by:

🏎️ Fast cars
🔥 Burning rubber
🍔 Good food
👫 Great company
😂 Lots of laughs
✨ And unforgettable memories!

Today marked 13 years since I lost my mom, and Lucas lost his grandma. 🕊️💔

She was a phenomenal woman with a heart of gold ❤️. She had a beautiful way of making everyone around her feel appreciated, valued, and deeply loved. 💕

She was so excited to become a grandma, and it breaks my heart knowing how little time she had with Lucas. One month after Lucas was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. 💔 She had only 10 months of Lucas’ life to enjoy being his grandma before she began the hardest fight of her life. She battled cancer for three years with incredible strength and courage. 🎗️❤️

Today, Lucas and I spent some special time remembering her. We went out for a meal at East Side Mario’s, one of Lucas’ favourites, and reminisced through photos, stories, and all the beautiful memories she left behind. 🍝📸❤️

I also want to share something that means a lot to us: East Side Mario’s is an inclusive restaurant. 🙌💙 They were happy to blend Lucas’ food so that he could enjoy his chosen meal more easily right at the table. Small accommodations like this make such a meaningful difference. ♿️❤️

Thirteen years later, we still miss her more than words can say. But we are grateful for every memory, every photograph, and every moment we were blessed to have with her. 🌹💗

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever a part of us. 🕊️❤️

Today we dropped off our accessible van at our body shop for some rust maintenance. 🔧🛠️

Out accessible van is such an important part of our lives, but replacing it would be astronomically expensive 💰—especially because we need specialized wheelchair accessibility. ♿️ Because of that, I want to take the best possible care of this van and make it last for as many years as I can! ❤️

So, for the next few days, we’re giving it a little TLC with some body work and rust prevention. 🧼✨

In the meantime, we are so grateful for Peel Region’s Wheel-Trans service! 🚌♿️ We absolutely love using Wheel-Trans and highly recommend it to anyone who requires accessible transportation throughout the Peel Region. The drivers are always so kind, patient, and helpful, and we truly appreciate everything they do. 💙👏
