✨🎄 Gingerbread Jubilee magic! 🎄✨

Yesterday’s Gingerbread Jubilee Holiday Party at Wellesley Community Centre was pure holiday joy from start to finish!

🎶 Xmas songs filled the room
💃 Dancing brought big smiles (and some great moves!)
🎁 Door prizes were won
🎻 The Q***r Songbook Orchestra was absolutely epic
🍽️ And the lunch? Delicious!

🌞✨ Sunshine Through the Years: 55th Anniversary Celebration ✨🌞

What an incredible day yesterday at Camp Sunshine on Ward’s Island! 💛💙 The Sunshine Singalong was absolutely fantastic, the dance party was full of joy and laughter, and the energy from everyone who joined made this milestone event truly unforgettable.

🎶💃 From singalongs to line dancing to heartfelt hugs, it was a beautiful celebration of 55 years of connection, community, and care.

🙌 But most of all, this day was about our incredible seniors: the heart and soul of Sunshine Centres. Your spirit, stories, and smiles lit up the island. Without you, there would be no Sunshine. THANK YOU for showing up, dancing, singing, laughing, and making this community what it is. 💛

🙏 Special thanks to the fabulous Sunshine Singers, our board members Susan Roller and Veena Balram, former staff Jaclyn Palmer, our intergenerational friends at Rainbow Connect, and our amazing corporate volunteers from Scotiabank. Your support, energy, and generosity helped make the day run smoothly and joyfully.
