Cinder came from north of the GTA with two siblings.

Cinder is a very curious, social and confident girl. She quickly adapted to her foster home and was totally fearless going to the vet even without her siblings. She loves cuddling with her two sisters and two older foster brothers (2 years old). Cinder is always quick to cuddle up with her foster mom too. Cinder loves play time either with her foster mom or her siblings. She loves watching cat TV or sitting in front of the screen door to monitor what’s happening on the balcony. Cinder is sweet, curious and playful with a beautiful coat.

Farrah is small but mighty!

She’s a pocket-sized bundle of energy who is curious about everything… and spooked by it too.

She loves to play with springs and strings, and especially loves it when they bounce off the walls and floors in unpredictable ways.

Quick to investigate the newest noise or smell, Farrah doesn’t let her fears get in the way of adventure.

She likes to find a safe, partially obscured place to watch life go by so she can still be a part of the action. Once she feels more comfortable, she’ll pop out to check out the fun.

Farrah is extremely food-motivated, and it’s almost magic how she packs it all away. You’d think her tiny body wouldn’t be able to eat that much, but she does not slow down. After a big meal, her next favourite thing to do is run around and play and play and play! You’ll hear her little pitter-patter on the floor after meals before you see her dart past!

Farrah came from a home with a lot of other cats but doesn’t seem to need them. In her foster home, she has a cat friend, and they mostly bond over eating. She’s happy to share food as long as there is enough to go around.

She doesn’t need another cat to play – she’ll find any toy and start playing on her own.

While she’s been adjusting, she’s been shy around noise/people. But the more exposure she gets, the less scared she becomes. You may need to be quieter the first few weeks to give her time to adjust, but in the end she should be ready to join in the action.

She is starting to mew for pets and ask for attention more and more. She is also letting her foster mom pet her longer each day. Farrah especially likes to be scratched on her head and under her chin. Not the belly, please!

Farrah loves to run and jump and play! She’s happiest when she finds a string or a spring to run around with. She’s happy if you play with her but also totally fine to play on her own too!

Cedar is a handsome orange tabby and white boy with a big personality and plenty to say!

As the only boy in his litter, Cedar has naturally appointed himself the leader of the group—and he’s more than happy to make sure everyone knows it.

Whether he’s interacting with his siblings or charming the humans around him, Cedar is usually right in the middle of the action and often front and centre.

This little guy loves to chase toys, explore, and keep tabs on everything happening around him.

He has a take-charge personality and is a total cuddle bug.

Cedar is wonderfully chatty and loves having conversations with his foster mom, happily telling her everything and anything that happens to be on his mind.

He has plenty of opinions and isn’t shy about sharing them!

Cedar is the kind of kitten who brings energy, entertainment, and affection wherever he goes.

He’s playful, social, curious, and loves being part of the action.

If you’re looking for a kitten who will keep you smiling, keep you company, and make sure you’re never left wondering what he’s thinking, Cedar might just be your guy.

Imagine spending an entire day cuddling a purring kitty, sharing cozy naps, gentle head bumps, and endless love. 😻 The benefits go both ways! Cats bring comfort, joy, and companionship into our lives, while we give them the safety, affection, and loving home they deserve. ❤️

Sadly, so many wonderful shelter cats are still waiting for someone to choose them. They have so much love to give and are just waiting for a chance to share it.

Biscotti was found on a kind person’s porch and was clearly a recently abandoned kitten.
He kept begging to go inside and was being bullied by the outdoor cats in the neighbourhood.
He was very happy to be taken into Abbeycats and was well-behaved at the vet for his vaccines and his neuter.

Biscotti is now in a foster home with one adult and two other cats, though he has played with a ten-year-old boy and received pets from other visitors.
He loves to cuddle and play and gets the zoomies.
He is incredibly gentle and never even play-bites.
He definitely takes comfort in having a person near and is always in the same room as his foster mom.
He loves ear scratches and showing his belly.

Biscotti was likely an only kitten before his short time outside because he didn’t play nicely with the other cats at first, but he’s now learned to respect their hisses.
Much more interested in people, he would do well as an only cat with an attentive adopter or a family.
He is adjusting really well to being around other cats, though, and could also do well with a cat of a similar age who likes to play.

A bit more shy with men than women, Biscotti has a sweet, rumbly purr and likes to give and receive kisses.
He sleeps in bed with his foster every night.
Biscotti is also the most food-motivated cat to maybe ever exist and will show his belly for treats.

Biscotti would do well as an only cat or possibly with a respectful friend.
He is so gentle and would be a great family cat and do well with children.
Unsure of dogs. He loves to play.

Meet Lyric, affectionately known as “Mini” because she may be tiny, but her personality is anything but.

This beautiful short-haired girl with warm brown colouring has a purr that seems to start the moment you pick her up.
Lyric is happiest curled up beside you, soaking up every bit of affection, and she has a particularly sweet habit of staring right into your eyes while she purrs as you pet her.
It’s almost as if she’s trying to tell you exactly how happy she is to be there.

While her siblings are busy wrestling and playing, Lyric sometimes prefers to sit quietly with her person and enjoy some one-on-one attention.
But don’t let her cuddly nature fool you — Mini is still a kitten who needs a friend to grow up with.
She would love a playful feline companion in her forever home, whether that’s a kitten already waiting for her or another cat from the program.
She may be the tiniest of the bunch, but Lyric has a very big heart and is ready to find someone of her own to share it with.

Hi!

My name is Aspen and I am an adorable female kitten with a sweet face and orange and white fur.

I live in a foster home with my brother and sister, three younger foster kittens, two other cats, a dog and five people.

I’m a total snuggle bug with a loud purr that starts up at the first sign of a cuddle.

I love to chase balls, string and spring toys and really enjoy play-fighting with my siblings.

I’m social and get along well with kids and other pets. Like my siblings, I really enjoy my food.

I’m looking forward to going to a forever home full of love and play.

Hello! I’m Lorena, a lovely black female kitten with a little bit of white fur on my chest and tummy.

I live in my foster home with my brothers Lionel and Laurence, an older foster kitten (Aspen), two other cats, a dog and five humans.

I’m a social, curious and playful girl who likes to wrestle with my brothers.
When I’ve had enough action, I like to take a break and soak up lots of affection.
When my foster mom is sitting on the floor with other kittens on her lap, I climb on the bed, tap her gently, and then climb on her shoulder to cuddle.

I eat well and get along with everyone I live with—other cats, the dog and people.

I’m ready to be adopted and must go to my new home with one or both of my brothers, Lionel and Laurence, or a kitten of similar age and energy.
