Q: What classes do you take with Randolph Kids?
A: I’m taking Acting and Performance at Randolph Kids. This summer, I’ll be in the Movie Makers camp.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about RK?
A: I like the games and activities in class with Parker. They are fun and also help me memorize lines and not feel nervous when I’m on stage.

Q: What is your dream role?
A: My favourite actors are Jim Carrey and Jack Black. I want to be in a comedy like “A Minecraft Movie” or “Liar Liar” someday like them.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this upcoming Show Season?
A: I am looking forward to performing as Allen in “Murder at the Renaissance Faire.” I want to make people laugh.

Q: What classes do you take with Randolph Kids?
A: I take Hip Hop, Jazz and Contemporary in the dance program and I am a part of Young Company in the musical theatre program. I assisted the first half of the year for Pre-Jazz and I am currently the Dance Captain for Young Company. I started in Broadway Babies when I was 5-6 years old and in the dance program in Grade 9. Through these, I have gotten to explore and express myself through different styles of dance and musical theatre.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about RK?
A: My favourite thing about Randolph Kids is the community. Everyone in the community has been so nice and welcoming ever since I was little. I have so many memories of being with my friends throughout the years just having fun and growing with me. The teachers and staff are all very kind, understanding, and will always help push you to become the best version of yourself, and I will forever be grateful for that.

Q: What is your dream role?
A: My dream role is Gretchen from Mean Girls. I feel like I can see parts of who I am/was as a person in her character, such as how she is always anxious about how people see her and Regina, how she is loyal to Regina, and how she finds comfort in validation. Knowing this, I can use my experiences to help portray her character and in general just have fun in that role. Adding to that, I love her solo song in the musical “What’s Wrong With Me?” not only for the melody, but for the meaning behind it. I would be honoured to play her one day and bring her to life.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this upcoming Show Season?
A: Showcasing what I have worked on all year in the Dance Showcase and in YoCo’s production of High School Musical Jr. Not only me, but all my friends, teachers and Randolph Kids Admin have worked so hard to produce something special for everyone to see.
I will forever hold onto the memories I have made here and the lessons I have learned by bringing it all together in one final bittersweet bow.

Q: What classes do you take with Randolph Kids?
A: I take Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Triple threat and I assist with Pre Tap and Pre Jazz

Q: Do you have a favorite memory from your years at RK?
A: My favorite memory from RK are all the friendships that I’ve made.

Q: What is your dream role?
A: My dream role is Angelica from Hamilton because she’s a woman of power who knows how to “work work”. I love singing along to her song Satisfied.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this upcoming Show Season?
A: I’m looking forward to dress rehearsal for the Dance Showcase where we can see what everyone has been working on over the year.

Q: What classes do you take with Randolph Kids?
A: I take Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary Dance classes, and I’m also in Young Company. I started with Tap and Jazz when I was 5 years old, then I joined Hip Hop, then Contemporary. I love learning about new styles of dance and all the ways I can express myself through them.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about RK?
A: My favourite part about Randolph Kids is getting to perform what we’ve worked on for the whole year. It really is a rewarding experience, dancing your heart out and hearing the applause.

Q: What is your dream role?
A: My dream role is the Cat in The Hat in Seussical! I was able to portray him in RK’s production of Seussical, and it was a blast! I love all of his smaller cameos and bits!

Q: What are you most looking forward to this upcoming Show Season?
A: I am looking forward to getting my costumes for this year! They are always so fun to pick and perform in for the Dance Showcase!

Q: What classes do you take with Randolph Kids?
A: I take Acting Company, jazz, ballet, pre-pointe, contemporary, hip-hop, and triple threat.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about RK?
A: I really like how accepted I feel here, and how I can just be myself. And I really like blocking scenes too!

Q: What is your dream role?
A: Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games. I really admire her because she is brave and she helped Peeta. But a close second is my current role in the Hobbit - Fili.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this upcoming Show Season?
A: I’m really excited about all the upcoming performances, especially contemporary. This is my first year in Acting Company, so our performance of the Hobbit will be special for me.

Q: What classes do you take with Randolph Kids?
A: I take Triple Threat, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop and I’m an assistant for a younger Jazz class.

Q: Do you have a favourite memory from RK?
A: I have many memories from my years at Randolph Kids, this decision was very hard for me but my favorite memory has to be about my double pirouette in my Triple Threat Class. We were doing some turn techniques and I went to prepare for my single but ended up doing a double! I started to freak out because I had never landed a clean double before. It turns out that my teacher didn’t see so I went to try again but just couldn’t do it, my dance teacher ended up looking away and I did my double. This went on for weeks! Until finally she saw me and it turned into a whole class celebration. In that moment it wasn’t even the double that mattered to me anymore but the comfort and belonging I felt in that moment is unbeatable.

Q: What is your dream role?
A: I’ve had the same dream role for years, Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. She’s always been my ideal character because I see so much of myself in her. Elle is the ultimate girly girl, she loves fashion, pink, nails, and everything in between and I totally relate. I also love STEM. If you ever catch me on a break at RK, I’m either talking with my friends or working on math or science. What I admire most about Elle is how she consistently proves people wrong. Everyone doubts her ability to succeed in law school, yet she uses her strengths, personality, and intelligence to shine and totally own the courtroom. Elle feels like a version of me turned up to full volume, and it would truly be an honour to bring her to life.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this upcoming Show Season?
A: I am most looking forward to the bittersweet final bows. During that last bow you feel proud and successful. You hear the audience screaming and the bright stage lights hand in hand with some of your closest friends. The bitter part is knowing that it is the end of this season, but you know that in just a couple months you will be back in the studio learning new skills in choreo and songs getting ready to perform once again!
