Our Hallowe'en Monster Express event over the weekend was extremely successful and went very smoothly. Throughout the two days, we welcomed 455 visitors, with both adults and children in costume, who were thoroughly entertained at the station and on their journey to Transylvania.

Thank you to all the volunteers who put in so much effort (including decorating and the behind-the-scenes work), as well as Linda Szentes and Michelle Carlisle for the music over the two days.

We have had a partnership with the Honey Bee Centre for a number of years. In the last few days, one of the beekeepers visited to removed the hive and smoked it as part of the season-ending process. The bees will hibernate over winter and the hive will be re-installed next spring.
