Food. Conversation. Community.

On February 24, we gathered at BCIT Burnaby Campus for an evening that reminded us of something simple yet powerful: connection begins at the table.

During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. But as shared that evening, what makes Ramadan truly beautiful is not only fasting — it’s what happens at sunset.

People sit together.
Stories are shared.
Differences become strength.

This was more than a dinner.
It was an invitation to dialogue, curiosity, and belonging.

Because no fast is meant to be broken alone.
