Registration is now open for the 2027 Fierté Canada Pride Conference.

From March 18 to 21, 2027, we're heading to Winnipeg, Manitoba, for four days of connection, learning, and community.

Each year, our national conference brings together Pride organizers, community leaders, and 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations from across Canada to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen the Pride movement.

Whether you're coming from a large city, a small town, or a rural or remote community, this conference is an opportunity to build connections, discover new perspectives, and celebrate the work happening in our communities.

Early bird registration is available until December 31, 2026.

Les inscriptions au Congrès annuel 2027 de Fierté Canada Pride sont maintenant ouvertes.

Du 18 au 21 mars 2027, on se donne rendez-vous à Winnipeg, au Manitoba, pour quatre jours de rencontres, d'apprentissage et de partage.

Chaque année, notre congrès national rassemble des personnes qui organisent des festivals de la Fierté, des leaders communautaires et des organismes 2ELGBTQIA+ de partout au Canada pour échanger des idées, partager leurs expériences et renforcer le mouvement de la Fierté.

Que vous veniez d'une grande ville, d'une petite municipalité ou d'une communauté rurale ou éloignée, ce congrès est une occasion de créer des liens, de découvrir de nouvelles perspectives et de célébrer le travail accompli dans nos communautés.

Les inscriptions à tarif préférentiel sont offertes jusqu'au 31 décembre 2026.

Le 6 octobre, Fierté Canada Pride sera sur la Colline du Parlement aux côtés d’organismes qu**rs, trans et alliés de partout au Canada dans le cadre d’une Journée nationale de mobilisation q***r.

Nous nous rendons à Ottawa avec un message clair : le gouvernement du Canada doit renouveler et élargir le Plan d’action fédéral 2ELGBTQI+.

Le Plan d’action actuel doit prendre fin le 31 mars 2027. À un moment où les communautés 2ELGBTQI+ de partout au pays continuent de faire face à des défis croissants, le leadership fédéral et des investissements durables sont essentiels.

Nous portons nos voix à Ottawa, mais cette conversation ne peut pas se limiter à la Colline du Parlement.

Ajoutez votre voix. Partagez notre message. Aidez-nous à faire en sorte que les personnes décisionnaires entendent les communautés 2ELGBTQI+ et leurs allié·e·s partout au Canada.

On October 6, Fierté Canada Pride will be on Parliament Hill alongside q***r, trans and allied organizations from across Canada for a national Q***r Day of Action.

We are heading to Ottawa with a clear message: the Government of Canada must renew and expand the Federal 2SLGBTQIA+ Action Plan.

The current Action Plan is set to end on March 31, 2027. At a time when 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across the country continue to face growing challenges, federal leadership and sustained investment matter.

We’re bringing our voices to Ottawa, but this cannot just be a conversation happening on Parliament Hill.

Add your voice. Share our message. Help us make sure decision-makers hear from 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and our allies across Canada.

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to live with the impacts of the residential school system.

September 30 is also an opportunity to listen, learn and reflect on the histories and experiences that have too often been erased or left untold.

As part of that learning, we encourage you to spend some time with Fierté Canada Pride’s Two-Spirit Stories project. Through the project, Two-Spirit people from across Canada share their stories, experiences and perspectives in their own words.

Today, and throughout the year, we encourage our communities to listen to and learn from Indigenous and Two-Spirit voices.

L’histoire de la Fierté compte.

Nous aidons à faire connaître L’histoire de la Fierté au Canada / Pride History in Canada, une conférence virtuelle nationale bilingue organisée par la Société historique de la Fierté canadienne les 16 et 17 octobre 2026.

Notre mouvement de la Fierté a été façonné par des générations de personnes organisatrices, militantes et dirigeantes communautaires, ainsi que par des organismes de partout au Canada. Préserver et partager ces histoires nous aide à comprendre notre parcours et à transmettre ces connaissances aux générations futures.

Nous encourageons les membres de FCP, les organismes de la Fierté et les membres de nos communautés de partout au Canada à découvrir la conférence et à y participer.

Pride history matters.

We’re helping spread the word about Pride History in Canada / L’histoire de la Fierté au Canada, a national bilingual virtual conference hosted by the Canadian Pride Historical Society on October 16–17, 2026.

Our Pride movement has been shaped by generations of organizers, activists, community leaders and organizations across Canada. Preserving and sharing those stories helps us understand where we have come from and carry that knowledge forward.

The conference will bring together community leaders, researchers, educators, archivists, Pride organizations, historians, students and community members to preserve, share and learn from the history of the Pride movement in Canada.

We encourage FCP members, Pride organizers and community members from across Canada to check it out and take part.

Fierté Canada Pride est solidaire de la Nation crie de Saddle Lake alors qu’elle affirme ses droits issus de traités, sa compétence inhérente et sa responsabilité de protéger la santé et le bien-être de ses membres.

Le 9 septembre, à l’occasion du 150e anniversaire du Traité no 6 à Fort Pitt, la Nation crie de Saddle Lake a annoncé qu’elle travaillait à la mise en place, sur ses terres, d’un cadre juridique et culturel pour offrir des soins d’affirmation de genre. Ce travail s’appuie sur le Traité no 6, les lois cries et la responsabilité de la Nation de prendre soin de ses membres.

À un moment où l’accès aux soins d’affirmation de genre est restreint en Alberta, le leadership de la Nation crie de Saddle Lake constitue une importante affirmation de la souveraineté autochtone, des droits issus de traités et du droit des personnes bispirituelles, trans et de diverses identités de genre d’accéder à des soins de santé dans la dignité, la sécurité et le respect.

FCP est solidaire de la Nation crie de Saddle Lake et encourage les organismes de la Fierté, ses membres et les communautés partout au Canada à faire connaître et à soutenir ce travail.

La Nation crie de Saddle Lake a créé un fonds de défense juridique afin de soutenir le travail juridique, de gouvernance et de mise en œuvre nécessaire pour faire progresser et défendre sa compétence en matière de santé fondée sur les droits issus de traités.

Nous encourageons les personnes qui le peuvent à faire un don, à partager la campagne et à contribuer à faire connaître le leadership de la Nation crie de Saddle Lake.

Fierté Canada Pride stands in solidarity with Saddle Lake Cree Nation as it asserts its Treaty rights, inherent jurisdiction and responsibility to protect the health and well-being of its people.

On September 9, the 150th anniversary of Treaty No. 6 at Fort Pitt, Saddle Lake Cree Nation announced its work to establish a legally and culturally grounded framework for gender-affirming health care on its lands. This work is grounded in Treaty No. 6, Cree laws and the Nation’s responsibility to care for its people.

At a time when access to gender-affirming care is being restricted in Alberta, Saddle Lake Cree Nation’s leadership is an important assertion of Indigenous sovereignty, Treaty rights and the right of Two-Spirit, trans and gender-diverse people to access health care with dignity, safety and respect.

FCP stands with Saddle Lake Cree Nation and encourages Pride organizations, our members and communities across Canada to amplify and support this work.
Saddle Lake Cree Nation has established a legal defence fund to support the legal, governance and implementation work required to advance and defend its Treaty health jurisdiction.

We are seeing a growing global backlash against 2SLGBTQIA+ rights, and Canada is not immune. At a time when our communities are facing increasing hate, misinformation, and threats to our rights and safety, Canada needs to lead by standing up for 2SLGBTQIA+ people at home and abroad.

Since 2022, the Federal 2SLGBTQIA+ Action Plan has made important investments in community organizations and supported hundreds of projects across Canada. Fierté Canada Pride has seen firsthand how important these investments are to organizations working in communities from coast to coast to coast.

But the current Action Plan is set to expire in March 2027.

This is not the time to step back. We need to build on what has been accomplished and ensure that 2SLGBTQIA+ communities remain a priority for the Government of Canada.

Fierté Canada Pride is proud to join more than 120 q***r, trans and allied organizations from across Canada calling on the federal government to renew and expand the 2SLGBTQIA+ Action Plan in Budget 2026.

Together, we are calling for increased investment in our communities, a stronger whole-of-government approach, greater engagement with provinces and territories, investment in the economic potential of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and continued Canadian leadership on human rights globally.
