Earlier this month, we had the privilege of joining residents at Chartwell for a beautiful butterfly release. 🦋

Together, we shared a meaningful afternoon of remembrance, reflection and connection, releasing butterflies in honour of those we love and carry with us.

Thank you to the residents and team at Chartwell for welcoming Surrey Hospice Society and allowing us to share this special moment with you. 💜

Last month, we were honoured to welcome RBC volunteers to Surrey Hospice Society and Laurel Place for a day of giving back. From gardening and sprucing up our outdoor spaces to helping create a more welcoming environment for residents and families, their time and generosity made a meaningful difference.

The day also included the presentation of a generous RBC Foundation donation, helping us to continue compassionate care, grief support, and programs for our community.

Thank you to the incredible RBC team for rolling up your sleeves, sharing your time, and supporting hospice care in such a meaningful way. Your kindness leaves a lasting impact. 💚

Last week, Laurel Place was filled with the sounds of live music during another wonderful Music on the Patio afternoon.

These special performances provide residents and their loved ones with an opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy time together in a warm, welcoming environment. It's one of the many ways meaningful moments are created each day at Laurel Place.

A heartfelt thank you to the Surrey Hospice volunteers, the staff, and the musicians who help make these afternoons so memorable. We're looking forward to the upcoming Music on the Patio sessions throughout August and September
