Loveabull Rescue Society Loveabull Rescue Society is located in Surrey BC, Canada. Loveabull Rescue Society is a non-profit dog rescue located in Surrey, BC, Canada.

Although our rescue operations closed down in 2024, we continue to “Spread The Love” through outreach; assisting supportive housing units, shelters, food banks, and our fellow rescue organizations. Our team strives to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need. Although we love our Bully Breeds, we help dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. Many of our dogs come from local shelters or have been s

urrendered from the lower mainland. We also rescue dogs across Canada, from over populated communities and provinces that have Breed Specific Legislation. We are a foster based animal rescue, which means we do not run out of a facility. We rely on the warm hearts in our community to open up their homes to animals in need of a temporary home. As a non-profit society, we fully rely on our adoption fees, public support and donations to cover the costs associated with our animal’s veterinary expenses and supplies. All animals in our care receive full medical treatment, spay or neuter, vaccinations & a microchip for permanent identification. An adopted dog through Loveabull will always remain a part of the Loveabull Society. We often invite our dogs back for free training sessions and events. We enjoy keeping a close tie to all of our adopters for future support through our own private page, Loveabull Foster's/Adopters Reunited.

What an incredible day at our Nosework “Try-It” Event!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to Bosley’s Murrayville to support Loveabull Rescue Society’s Spread the Love program. From enthusiastic pups trying nosework for the first time, to donors, volunteers, and supporters, your generosity and community spirit made the day a tremendous success.

Special thanks to Arleigh Bell of K9 Fun N Games for sharing her expertise and introducing so many dogs (and their humans!) to the exciting world of nosework. It was wonderful to watch the dogs put their noses to work and have so much fun doing it! A big shout out to Yaari Pets, for sharing their products and expertise with our guests and helping create a fantastic experience for everyone who attended.

We are also eternally grateful to Bosley’s Murrayville for hosting the event, and supporting our fundraising efforts every year, throughout Pet Appreciation Month.

Every donation, raffle ticket purchase, and contribution helps support our Spread the Love program, providing assistance to pets and their families who are experiencing housing insecurity or are at risk of homelessness.

🐾 Volunteer Extraordinaire! 🐾

Everyone knows someone who always goes above and beyond. Here at Loveabull Rescue Society, we are incredibly fortunate to have one of those people on our team.

Barbara Stoll is that person.

Whether she’s sorting donations for redistribution, delivering supplies to local food banks, supporting our Return-It fundraising program, or sewing covers for dog beds, Barb is always ready to lend a hand.

Recently, we asked if she could sew a few bandanas for some upcoming fundraising events. Well... holy cow, did she ever deliver! The response was far beyond anything we expected, and we are so grateful for the time, effort, and care she put into every single one.

Community service is truly in Barb’s blood. As a veteran (thank you for your service, Barb!), she continues to give back by volunteering with several organizations, including Meals on Wheels, while somehow still finding time to support our mission.

💙 Thank you, Barb, for everything you do. Your generosity, dedication, and kindness make a difference to so many people and pets in our community.

We’re looking for a barn, covered area, or warehouse space to host a special fundraiser on June 14th.

This exciting nosework event may include scent trials, a shed antler hunt, or urban ratting. All dogs will be on leash and participate one at a time, making it a safe and structured experience for everyone involved.

✨ 100% of proceeds will go directly to our Spread The Love project — helping provide essential support to dogs living with their owners in homeless shelters and supportive housing.
If you have a space we could use, or know someone who does, please reach out. Sharing this post also makes a huge difference!

It’s been a busy start to the year for our Spread the Love project, and because of you, we’ve been able to make a real impact:

✨ In partnership with Fraser Valley Humane Society, we sponsored 6 cats from Sumas Supportive Housing for spay/neuter

In a terrifying accident, Max was badly burned while trying to protect his mom when their trailer exploded. After they were pulled from the flames, Max—frightened and in pain—bolted and was tragically hit by a car. Max and his mom have been through an unimaginable ordeal, and they need our support.
