We are certainly thankful for the Chemainus Health Food Store and everything they have done for our community. Cheers to what’s next!

Here we are at the season of giving Thanks....

We have so much to be thankful for; our families and friends, our health and our business in the great little town of Chemainus, we are thankful for the support that we have had for the last 20 years!

That's right.... 20 YEARS!

Some days it seems like yesterday we bought Chemainus Health Food Store and other days it seems like 20 years worth of yesterdays, we have learned so much about ourselves, each other and owning a small business in the town of Chemainus. We have had so many big moments, ups and downs, frustrations, tears, but mostly a lot of laughter and great memories!

The time has come for us to retire from Chemainus Health Food Store and move on to the next chapter of life! We have been so fortunate to have had great staff that have become family, fabulous customers that have become friends, all the amazing companies, producers/makers, sales reps, the amazing Chemainus business community and all the other great people we have met in the last 20 years, we couldn't have been here without you!

We would love to see as many of you as we can before we close our doors for the last time at the end of December, 2026.

With thanks,
Lulu & Sherry

📣 Have you watched the candidate interviews yet? 🗳️

With the North Cowichan municipal election coming up this Saturday, October 17th, we encourage everyone to take a few minutes to get to know the candidates before heading to the polls! 😊

🎥 Both the Council Candidate Interviews AND the Mayoral Candidate Interviews are available on our YouTube channel!

👉 Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/

While we were unable to connect with a few candidates, whether due to scheduling conflicts or being unable to reach them, we’re grateful to everyone who took the time to participate and share their perspectives with our community! 😊

Please watch, get informed, and make your voice heard this Saturday! 💙

We also want to say a big thank you to Dr. Laura Reimer for conducting the council candidate interviews on behalf of the Chemainus BIA! Laura was selected as an impartial interviewer. We greatly appreciate her time, professionalism, and thoughtful approach in helping our community get to know the candidates ahead of the election.
