Cowichan Classical Concerts Cowichan Classical Concerts is a registered charity that presents a series of nine classical concerts every year, once a month from October to June.

Chemainus Classical Concerts present concerts by outstanding local and international artists. Our season runs from October to June each year and performances take place at St. Michael and All Angels Church in Chemainus. This space offers wonderful acoustics, and a meticulously maintained Yamaha C1 grand piano. A typical season includes an array of solo and ensemble instrumentalists, vocal soloists, and vocal ensembles. Programming is always accessible, informative and highly enjoyable. All of the concerts are from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon and are followed by a reception in the adjoining hall, with beautifully presented refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists.

A musical adventure with a CCC audience favourite! 🎶

Many of you will remember Kai Gleusteen and Catherine Ordronneau's wonderful performances for our concert series. Kai and Catherine invite you to join them for a small-group journey through Paris, Normandy and Belgium, May 24–June 7, 2027.

Enjoy concerts and opera, art and gardens, French food and w**e, and private performances with your musical hosts. A few places are still available!

We regret to inform you that today’s concert had to be cancelled due to mechanical issues affecting the ferry from Powell River, where our performers played a concert last night.
We’ve tried everything in our power to get them to the Island, but have exhausted all options.

Our sincerest apologies.

Our scheduled AGM will now take place after the Nov 8 concert.

Ticket holders will be contacted for rescheduling or reimbursement.

Cheryl Duvall is the powerhouse pianist that will perform alongside violinist Andrew Sords on Sunday, Oct 4th, in the first concert of our season.
She is celebrated for her artistic versatility, technical agility, and nuanced playing, and two of her three recorded albums have been nominated for Juno awards.

Violinist Andrew Sords has earned a reputation as an artist whose performances are distinguished by virtuosity, individuality, and uncommon expressive depth. He is praised for possessing interpretive genius, and playing imbued with pure tone and grace.
Sords maintains an impressive career as soloist and recitalist, and has appeared with acclaimed orchestras and on distinguished recital series throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
