We said our earthly goodbye to Chrispin this past week. He had retired as a security guard at Mulunguzi House after serving well and brightening lives with his sweet smile. Chrispin will be missed by many.

His love for Jesus means he stepped across into deeper joy and life than he has ever known. Our hearts are comforted knowing this, as we miss his presence on earth.

We recently submitted an Expression of Interest for International Development Funding. It is challenging to express the work of FVM within a two-page submission! To capture how the community comes together to nurture their preschoolers - the investment of time and effort by volunteers into the programmes is so important to acknowledge.

Did you know that the Ministry of Health in Malawi uses drones to deliver pharmaceuticals and pick up lab samples in remote areas?
Amidst the need and lack of resources, there is resilience and innovation and huge potential.
It is our joy at FVM to partner with the Taulo and Nandolo communities to bring food security, health & nutrition, spiritual services, educational support and medical services to enable more and more people to thrive - spirit, soul & body.

Congratulations to Loyce who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Journalism.
FVM is grateful for the opportunity to support students in Malawi as they achieve their dreams. This is an area we would love to develop further in the future. FVM teams in Canada and Malawi have been meeting online to brainstorm and renew our mission and values statements. It was so good to be able to hear one another. Especially impactful is to hear from the Malawi team who are doing the day-to-day work of living out our mission and values. The Sunuzi Health Centre will bring another team on board. We want to ensure the impact of Jesus’ love, hope and salvation stays front and centre as we continue in outreach initiatives ministering to multiple generations in the Taulo and Nandolo communities ❤️
