his past weekend from Thursday – Sunday I had the opportunity to attend the 60th Rainmaker Rodeo organized by the Kinsmen, Kinettes, K40 with the help of surrounding clubs. This long standing event, of more than 6 decades of tradition, continues to be one of Alberta’s most significant community celebrations, and a shining example of Kin Service in action.
Throughout the weekend, literally thousands of residents and visitiors came together to enjoy the rodeo, parade, midway and family activities that have become hallmarks of the Rainmaker. Behind every moment of excitement stood the volunteers of St Albert Kin. Whose commitment to service ensures this event remains a cornerstone of the community year after year.
It take a lot to make this event happen, kudos to The St Albert Kinsmen, Kinettes and K40 whose leadership and countless volunteer hours make the Rodeo possible.
The 250 plus volunteers and event partners who contribute their time, expertise and support.
Local sponsors and community organizations whose collaboration strengthens the event and enhances its impact
And lastly but not least the residents of St Albert and surrounding area whose ongoing participation enable the event to happen every year.
The Rainmaker Rodeo stands as a testament to what can be achieved when service, tradition and community come together. Well done St Albert Kin for your continued dedication to building strong communities.
Thank you for the warm welcome and inviting me into your project, I had the opportunity to experience, chat with multiple volunteers, and Kin from surrounding areas. BZ to all involved.
