Members of the NETCO team were pleased to be in Whitehorse in Yukon this week conducting another round of Powerline Technician Drone Training with Castle Powerline Contractors. Thank you to the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta, IBEW Local 424 Union and Midlite Powerline Construction for their partnership, engagement and involvement in this project! This program, led by a Transport Canada Certified Instructor, gives powerline technicians an “eye in the sky,” boosting safety and helping keep the lights on across Canada.

Thank you to IBEW Canada for including NETCO in their booth at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Trade Show in Edmonton, Alberta. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase and promote the highly skilled and highly trained IBEW workforce to municipal leaders and decision-makers from across Canada.

We appreciated the chance to engage with municipalities, highlight the value of union trained electrical workers, and discuss how the IBEW continues to deliver a safe, productive, and professional workforce for communities nationwide.
