Now happily settled in Hampton, Charlotte is passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate grief, loss, and life’s most difficult moments. Her person-centred approach reflects what matters so deeply to us: ensuring people feel heard, supported, and never alone in their grief.

Not all disabilities are visible, and not all grief is either.

For Invisible Disabilities Week, we recognize that many people are carrying challenges others may not see. Grief can affect our mental, emotional, and physical well-being in ways that are difficult to explain or understand from the outside.

The loss of a loved one, a change in health, or a life-altering experience can leave us navigating exhaustion, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and emotions that don't always show on the surface.

You never know what someone is carrying. A little patience, compassion, and understanding can make a meaningful difference.

At Compassionate Grief Centre, we believe everyone deserves support, no matter what their grief looks like. Thanks to the support of the Saint John Community Foundation and the Sir James Dunn Foundation, we’re able to offer free and low-cost counselling options for those who are struggling and need a little extra support.

You don't have to carry it all alone. If you or someone you know could benefit from counselling, we encourage you to reach out.

This Invisible Disabilities Week, let's make room for the struggles we cannot see and lead with compassion.

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. 💗💙

Today, we honour the babies gone too soon and hold space for the parents, families, and loved ones who carry their memory every day.

Pregnancy and infant loss is a grief that deserves to be acknowledged. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, your baby matters, your grief matters, and you are not alone.

Tonight at 7 p.m., we invite you to light a candle for one hour in memory of the babies who are forever loved and never forgotten.

One small light can be a powerful reminder that even in grief, love remains.

At Compassionate Grief Centre, we recognize that every loss matters, and support is here when you need it.
