Five years of care, compassion, and community. 💜

Last week, we gathered to celebrate our 5 year anniversary with some of the incredible people who have helped support Oak Ridges Hospice along the way.

Throughout the night we heard from staff, volunteers, community partners, founding members, and families of our residents speak about what Oak Ridges Hospice means to them.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for this special evening, including Mayor Wilma Wotton, members of Council, and MPP Todd McCarthy. Thank you for taking the time to join us.

During the event Dr. Steve Russell presented Ron and Nancy Compton with a plaque of recognition in appreciation of their ongoing support of the hospice. Their generosity and belief in our mission continues to make a lasting impact on our hospice and the people we serve.

We want to say a huge thank you to Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel and their team for hosting our event.

From our residents and families to our volunteers, staff, donors, partners, and supporters. This milestone belongs to all of you.

Thank you for being part of our story. Here is to five years and many more.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, thorough, and compassionate, with experience in custodial work and a strong commitment to treating our hospice home with care and respect.

🕐 4–16 hours per week
⏰ 3–4 hour shifts
📅 Must be flexible and available for weekdays and weekends
