Today, we had the privilege of celebrating the dedicated volunteers of Oak Ridges Hospice. We proudly recognized volunteers receiving their 5-year and 10-year service pins and certificates, while also honouring every volunteer whose compassion, commitment, and generosity help provide comfort and support to those in our care. Thank you for all that you do, your impact is truly immeasurable.

They are a bright addition to our back patio with their beautiful flowers and will support our kitchen by providing fresh vegetables and herbs.

Tickets are now on sale for the first draw on June 24.

Are you passionate about supporting individuals and families through grief, loss, and life-limiting illness? We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Supportive Care Lead to provide leadership for our grief and bereavement services.

In this role, you will:
• Lead and support the Grief & Bereavement Team
• Develop innovative bereavement programs and resources
• Advocate for clients and families while ensuring excellence in care

We're looking for a professional with a strong background in social work, counselling, thanatology, or a related field, along with experience in palliative care, bereavement services, and team leadership.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 9th Annual Hike for Hospice in support of Oak Ridges Hospice!

With more than 450 hikers registered, we are thrilled to announce that we have reached our fundraising goal of $175,000 to support compassionate hospice care for individuals and families when they need it most.

If you'd still like to contribute, donations will remain open until June 30 at hike4hospice.com.

We’ll be sharing our official fundraising total and event photos soon so stay tuned!
