Endless thanks to Athena Vegas, Kali Kontour - Sha’de, Colin Bruce Durham Court, Tommi_Boy, Sum Wong, COUNTRY LINE DANCING TORONTO, and DJ Andy Maxx for the talent, the heart, and the fearless joy you shared with our community.

Drag is celebration, protest, and pure artistry all at once, and you gave us every bit of it.

Calling all artists. Are you up for the challenge?

Call for Artists: Glow Wild: Pride After Dark Juried Exhibition

Scugog Arts, in partnership with North Durham Pride, is seeking artists to participate in Glow Wild: Pride After Dark, a juried exhibition taking place during North Durham's first-ever evening Pride celebration in downtown Uxbridge.

This exhibition explores themes of pride, visibility, belonging, and self-expression through the lens of light and illumination. We welcome submissions that reflect the diversity, resilience, and creativity of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

Artists working in a wide range of mediums are encouraged to apply, including painting, sculpture, installation, mixed media, and wearable art. We are particularly interested in work that incorporates light, illumination, or interactive elements to help create an engaging street-side experience.

Submission deadline: July 29, 2026 at midnight
Entry fee: $30
First place prize: $500

These hand-crocheted Pride flags are one-of-a-kind, and every $10 funds North Durham Pride 🏳️‍🌈

Every beautiful flag was crocheted by hand, by volunteers who wanted to give back to their 2SLGBTQIA+ neighbours. We are so grateful for their efforts and their commitment to our community!

Each one is a $10 cash donation, and 100% goes straight to North Durham Pride.

Youth Pride Durham returns Saturday June 13 in Whitby, and North Durham Pride will be there. 🌈

Find us at our booth from 1 to 4 p.m. at Durham Regional Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East. Stop by to say hi, learn what we are up to across North Durham, and grab something to take home.

The whole afternoon is a resource village with fabulous performances, a magician, and food vendors. A friendly, inclusive celebration for youth, children, and families who are part of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and allies are welcome to join.
