🙏 We wish to send a sincere thank you to all who have delivered gifts and the many shoe boxes which are being prepared for this year's Soldier's Shoebox Project! ❤️
💝🎁 Our elves are busy filling and wrapping all the amazing donations from our incredible and generous supporters. Our boxes will be heading to Trenton next week, to be shipped out to our overseas Soldiers, in gratitude and appreciation of their service and commitment to Canada.

For years, we have sent Christmas shoeboxes filled with everyday essentials to our soldiers abroad - things like toiletries, notebooks, socks, snacks, playing cards, puzzle books, pens, and more. Having received interest from our community - This year, we're inviting YOU to join us!

📦 How to help: Fill any size shoebox (except for small child-size) with health and beauty items, nonperishables, treats, socks, or small gloves for men & women.

❓Don’t have a shoe box? We’ll pack one for you, with all your dropped off goodies!

🙏 Sending out a huge thankyou to everyone who has been bringing in shoeboxes for us to wrap and fill! Our LA elf Lydia, has been very busy wrapping the boxes as they come in.

📍 Drop Off Location: Legion Branch #419, 484 Bay St, Port Perry.

Not able to get a foursome together for golf??? No worries! We can accommodate any number of golfers. There are always other ways to help as well, such as hole sponsorship or raffle give aways. Contact us for details.

Join us for our annual golf tournament! Friday July 11th @ Sunnybrae Golf Club! Always a fun day. $125/golfer includes beverage and a bite, golf, cart, games and lunch. Foursomes encouraged but not mandatory.

Join Us for Our Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament on July 12!

Dear Golf Enthusiasts!

We are thrilled to announce that our Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament is back and will take place on Friday, July 12! We warmly invite you to our day of fun and philanthropy. This year, we are raising money for several impactful causes that support veterans and our community.

In the past, the funds we have raised have gone towards a variety of significant initiatives, including:

- Veteran Service Dogs
- Bomb Girl Banners Program
- Veteran Banner Program
- Branch 419 Flagpole
- Continuing Education Awards
- Operation Scugog
- Oak Ridges Hospice
- Poppy Fund

We are seeking hole sponsorships at $100.00 each. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate any raffle and game prize donations.

Your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veterans and community members. To sponsor a hole or donate prizes, please contact Wendy at 905-924-3923.

We are having a raffle! Ontario Darts has generously donated a f.g.bradley’s official dart board and donating all proceeds to the L.A.!! Tickets are $5 and available at the bar in the Legion.
Drop in and get them this week, as the draw is Sunday, March 3!
