The team behind the Port Perry Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is beyond excited to share that, thanks to our incredible community, we have officially surpassed our record-breaking goal of $40,000!

This amazing achievement would not have been possible without every single person who donated, walked, volunteered, sponsored, shared our posts, or cheered us on along the way. Every contributionโ€”big or smallโ€”helped make this possible.

Because of your generosity, weโ€™ve raised enough to fund the training and placement of a life-changing Dog Guide, helping provide independence and support to Canadians living with physical disabilities and medical conditions at no cost to them. ๐Ÿพ

From the bottom of our hearts... THANK YOU.

To our walkers.
To our volunteers.
To our sponsors.
To our donors.
To everyone who helped spread the word.

This wasnโ€™t just our accomplishmentโ€”it belongs to our entire community. ๐Ÿ’™

Port Perry continues to prove what can happen when a community comes together for an incredible cause.

We canโ€™t wait to do it all again next year! ๐Ÿถ๐ŸŽ‰

Now weโ€™re asking for one final favour...

Every dollar makes a difference, and weโ€™re so close! If youโ€™re able, simply click the Donate button below and help us cross the finish line.

This yearโ€™s walk brought together 202 walkers and 84 dogs, and none of it would have been possible without our incredible sponsors, donors, volunteers, and this amazing community. We are 100% volunteer-run, and every dollar raised goes directly toward providing life-changing Dog Guides at no cost to the people who need them.

Here in Scugog, weโ€™ve already seen the impact firsthand with one local Autism Assistance Dog Guide, and there are several more local applicants waiting for their future Dog Guide.

Thereโ€™s still time to win! In addition to the Lions Foundation Dog Guides incentive prizes, thanks to the generosity of Kris Bowler, every $250 you raise earns you one entry to win a relaxing overnight stay at Tudor Pines Spa & B&B in Seagrave.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this our biggest and most successful walk yet. Letโ€™s see if we can finish strong and reach $40,000 together! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

Weโ€™ll see you again at the 2026 Scugog Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 5!

Thank you for your support, and have a wonderful summer! โ˜€๏ธ
