Good Afternoon,

What a busy night. Thank you, Padre Fowler, for taking the time out of you very busy schedule. Mental Health/Wellness should be everyone's priority. Just as important, I believe as one's physical well being. We also had our Zone Training Officer out from Trenton to pay us a visit as well. Thank you also Capt Budge.

For this weekend in Trenton, I reached out to each cadet that was registered with a consent form and kit list in an earlier email. These are the cadets that will be participating this weekend only. There will be other opportunities to take advantage of training. Please utilize the kit list, dress for the weather! You must have your signed consent and your health card in order to participate. No later than 0715 p.m. at the High School for Friday (6 March) please. Return at same location Sunday for 430 p.m. Know it will be a blast!

Evening,

Have busing information for the upcoming weekend (6,7,8, March) ...at the Port Perry High School no later than 1920 (720 p.m.), bus leaving at 1935(735 p.m.) on Friday 6 March returning Sunday 8 March for 1635 (435 p.m.) Pack using the kit list, signed consent and health card are a must! This event required pre-registration.

Now for what happened today,

Terrific weather, phenomenal staff/volunteers, great location, with some pretty awesome cadets made for an incredibly fun filled day. Challenges with snowshoe relay races, Frisbee golf/baseball, snow corn hole, etc....and marksmanship was topped off with your son or daughter preparing gourmet pizzas and banana splits.

To the staff and volunteers, my gratitude for pulling out all the stops to deliver the best day and to the cadets that jumped right in delivering 110%. So lucky to be part of this team! Remember that it is CO's parade this Wednesday and there will be marksmanship practice for all of the cadets this Thursday starting at 1845 (645 p.m) at the legion.

A reminder that it is also this Thursday (5 March) that Crusty Pizza is donating a portion from every one of their sales of the 41pizza special back to our unit. Just remember to ask, when ordering, for the 41 Cadet special. Great way to enjoy really good pizza and support the unit at the same time.

Take care, stay safe!
