The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association is committed to providing fully professional services with an emphasis on the fundamental goal of our work which is to help County seniors to live independently, and to decide what is best for themselves. Our volunteers are important to the work and it is only with their help and support that we can provide the services that seniors n

eed to stay living at home. Community Care provides practical support services such as cleaning, rides to appointments, delivery of foot, light housekeeping, foot care clinics, etc.

Looking for a fun way to spend your Wednesday afternoon? Older adults in Prince Edward County are invited to Crafty Wednesday at the County Seniors’ Centre! Whether you love knitting, crocheting, embroidery, scrapbooking, or painting, this is the perfect time to get creative. Participants can bring their own ongoing projects from home to work on with friends, or try out some of the crafts the Centre has to offer.

Community stories and perspectives will help guide improvements in care and services for seniors and others across the region.

Both positive experiences and suggestions for improvement are welcome. All stories shared will remain anonymous and will be reviewed by the HPE OHT Health Equity Working Group to help shape meaningful changes within the local health and care system.
