Dear Friends of the Festival... The Giving Tuesday this year falls on December 3rd! We invite you to help us bring world-class musical performances to the County for our 2026 season in September and October. The full line-up and program will be announced in the spring. We hope that the highlights of your musical memories from our past are all still treasured as you think back over your concert experiences.
Now is the time for us to raise funds to engage more of the most excellent and exciting artists in Canada. In addition to the six-concert festival we also present a free outdoor concert, two schools concerts that fill the church with 600 students, and a Benefit Concert in the spring.
The costs to produce a top quality festival are significant and continue to increase as the caliber of our festival continues to grow. Government grants and ticket sales cover approximately half of our operating budget, and we rely on donors like you for the rest. As we build on our success from past seasons, we will continue to develop the festival into one of Canada’s top destinations for excellence in chamber music. With your help we can realize our ongoing vision of facilitating outstanding live performances in Prince Edward County.
Thank you for your generosity today and in the past. Your donations keep the festival going.

They liked it! Those were the last notes played at our 2025 Festival - Brahms' string sextet with the Penderecki String Quartet, augmented by David Marks on viola and Paul Marleyn on cello. We had an excellent festival, kudos to Artistic Director Paul Marleyn for imaginative programming and a big thank you to all our artists.

Our closing concert with the Penderecki String Quartet, and also David Marks on viola and our own Artistic Director Paul Marleyn on cello will be terrific. CBC's Tom Allen will read from Tolstoy's novella that is at the heart of the concerts narrative.
