While the paddle last night may not have offered many cozy comforts, it was wonderful to be back on the water, sharing the experience with five other enthusiastic paddling friends.

We were treated to an impressive display of wildlife—swans, cranes, ducks, kingfishers, and even a statement-making beaver along the Outlet River.
