Today we are extending our sincere gratitude to the Picton Kinettes for their recent contribution to County Kids Read. They kindly donated the $500 in bake sale proceeds from their Loonie Auction event!

Heartfelt thanks to Kinette Jean Thompson (pictured here with Andrea and Anne from the CKR team) and her group for their generous support, and recognizing the importance of ensuring every County kid has the right to enjoy the lifelong benefits of their very own books!

📣 Sophiasburgh CS students - we can't wait to see and read with you tomorrow!

❔Did you know? 3 times every school year, our volunteers bring the County Kids Read experience on the road. Our Sophiasburgh team has been visiting for over 10 years! Check out these photos from our most recent visit in March. We carefully select and bring a whole bunch of books, lead storytimes and book talks, and help every kiddo find their "just right" book.

🙌 Thank you to everyone who makes our school visits possible - our volunteers (pictured is Steve, Joan, and Lynne - our formidable Sophiasburgh team!), our donors and supporters, and of course the admin, teachers, and children who welcome us and our free books into their classrooms and libraries.
