Started because of the mammoth heart of, Jose Orozco ❤️
This guy sustained a spinal cord injury just like myself and I met him through another friend who has a daughter in a wheelchair, he sat on Jose's Board of Directors with Purinapaq - Mobility Without Borders

I've known Jose and his family for the better part of nine years, he literally helps out every single one of my physically disabled close friends, and I have a small army of those! He has fixed my chair and others on a Saturday morning when you would just NEVER get a Sales or Service person into your home, I'm talking Easter Weekend and you wake up in your wheelchair doesn't work | the next thing you know Jose and his son Gonzo, yes that's his name, are excited to get my ass rolling in that chair, he's given vans to me and other families, one time he gave us an accessible van, Jim Feilders and a friend invested $1000 in that van and it was in the hands of a family that needed it within three weeks... This family had never had a van to transport their disabled daughter ever and now they had one and it cost them zero pennies on the dollar! I go to the Red Umbrella Inn with CharterAbility for the fifth year this year and there is a Hoyer lift there, portable one that my PSW uses to get me in and out of bed, this year were putting a bed bar in that resort in Halliburton so next year will even be more accessible for people with disabilities, maybe I'll stay a week! All because of Purinapaq - Mobility Without Borders
Jose has sent 40 containers to Peru, Ecuador and Cuba, people in very much need of the recycled equipment we take for granted and pretty much discarded like trash!

PS, I love the story of two of my old wheelchairs going to Cuba where I have a video of a double amputee driving my chair in the cobblestone roads of Havana | complete with a Gordon Bay Marine and Access Abilities sticker on the side of the chair! And one of my chairs that tilted, rise up so you could sit at the end of a bar, at the podium or look your family in the eye, in a pick up truck on the 401 of busy Lima Peru, hours away from some lucky soul with a physical disability! Jose we need some video of that fella!
