Camp Maple Leaf is a registered charity, providing children of Canadian Military Families and childr

Camp Maple Leaf currently operates three overnight camps for children. CML Jacob Island, our flagship camp, is located in the Kawartha region of Ontario. Our second location, CML Greenhill Lake, opened in 2022 and is located just west of Fredericton New Brunswick. Our newest & third camp location, CML Sylvan Lake, is located in central Alberta. At each location, Camp Maple Leaf upholds a strong culture of inclusion and belonging, supports and celebrates our campers for who they are, and fosters friendships that follow them home. Established in 1955 by the Canadian council of War Veterans Associations, Camp Maple Leaf has served thousands of children over its 65 year history. Our vision is that children with unique life challenges have camp friends who share their experiences and help them thrive.

Thank you, Fowlers Corners Lions Club, for your generous ongoing support of Camp Maple Leaf! Randy "The Falcon" Pielsticker and Charmaine "Macaroni" Frado were at Cruise Night at Craftworks - Presented by Fowlers Corners Lions Club to receive the $10,000 donation, which goes directly into helping us provide a better camp experience to more children with unique life challenges.

Today is Military Family Appreciation Day. Here at Camp Maple Leaf, we recognize the many sacrifices Military Families have to make, and the unique life challenges it poses on children. This year we were proud to serve children of Military Families, serving and Veteran, in four provinces across Canada. Today, we appreciate the resilience and strength of those children and their families.

What an incredible season it was at Camp Maple Leaf, at all four of our locations! We want to thank ALL of you who made this all happen: the children, the parents and caregivers, the staff, the funding partners, and the individual donors. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for making it all possible, and for making 2026 another year to remember.

A big thank you to MFRC - Mainland BC for their support! We were so happy to welcome Ali and her daughter Estelle to our BC location, where they got to see first hand the kind of programming we provide to Military and Veteran families. The BC MFRC’s partnership helped us send more Children of Military Families to camp this summer, and we are grateful for their support.

We just wrapped up our inaugural Camp for Children of Military Families (serving and Veteran) in British Columbia! One of our goals this year was to be able to serve more Military Families across Canada, and we are so grateful to our campers from the West coast for putting your trust in us and joining us for a week of fun and friendships. We hope you’ll be back next year!

A big Camp Maple Leaf thank you to our friends at the Fowlers Corners and District Lions Club for welcoming us to their Cruise Night at Craftworks - Presented by Fowlers Corners Lions Club again this summer!

Our team had a fantastic time meeting people, making new connections and sharing the Camp Maple Leaf story with members of our local community.

Cruise Night is always a great evening - classic cars, wonderful people and a real sense of community. We’re grateful to the Lions for giving us the opportunity to be part of it throughout the summer.

Thank you, Fowlers Corners & District Lions Clubs International , for being such wonderful neighbours and community partners!

Meet “Nikon”, Camp Maple Leaf’s photographer and digital strategist 👋 Nikon started here three years ago, and since then, has set out to tell the many inspiring stories of the campers, staff, and the mandate of the camp itself. We hope you have enjoyed seeing and hearing some of the magic that happens at camp.
