EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC) is a certified non-profit founded by high school students.

We support young immigrants through educational programs, leadership training, and community connections, helping them thrive in their new environment. EmpoweredUth, EduConnect (EUEC) is a youth-led, registered non-profit organization based in Oakville, Ontario. 🌱 We empower immigrant, newcomer, and underserved youth across Canada through free academic tutoring, leadership development programs, an

d inclusive community events. Since our founding, EUEC has supported over 850+ youth, facilitated 1,500+ hours of free tutoring, and donated more than $1,600+ to charitable causes. 💙

Open Call: Youth Art Exhibition – elsewhere

EUEC invites young artists ages 5–18 to submit original artwork exploring the theme of belonging. Share your perspective through identity, culture, language, or personal experience.

All mediums are welcome, including visual art, photography, digital work, and mixed media. Selected works will be featured in a public exhibition. Top selected artists from two age groups (5–13 and 14–18) will be recognized and awarded for their work.

From building confidence and public speaking skills to working through team challenges and setting meaningful goals, this bootcamp is designed to help students grow into strong, capable young leaders. 💬✨

🎉 EUEC (EmpoweredUth, EduConnect) is now accepting registrations for our FREE tutoring program! 🎉

Program Details
- 100% free online tutoring for students in Grades 1–8, hosted via Google Meet (easy to join from home!)
- Each session is 1 hour long
- Students receive personalized academic feedback and take part in small projects and interactive activities, applying what they learn while building critical thinking and communication skills
- All sessions are led by trained high school volunteer tutors who are patient, responsible, and committed to creating a warm, supportive learning environment

Subjects Offered:
English ｜ Math ｜ Science ｜ Coding ｜ Language courses

Start Date:
Classes are expected to begin the week of January 12. A detailed schedule will be shared soon!

Kick off the new school year in the best way possible!
EUEC’s Back to School Event is a one-day celebration where kids can build new friendships, grow their skills, and have a great time through hands-on activities and leadership games.

📅 Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Fellowship Hall, St. John’s United Church (262 Randall St, Oakville, ON L6J 1P9)
👧 Age Requirements: For kids ages 7–12 |

🌟 EUEC Summer Camp 2025 – Day 3 Recap! 🌟

Today was all about Lead & Thrive, and our campers stepped up as amazing young leaders! 💡✨

In the morning, we learned what leadership really means: not just being “in charge,” but listening, helping, making decisions together, and setting an example. 👂🤝🌟

Campers took part in our Leadership Challenge, taking on roles like team leader, communicator, and creative thinker. Each group brainstormed and presented their ideas with confidence and teamwork! 🙌

Later, we brought leadership skills into the real world with our selling activity. Using the posters they designed yesterday, campers sold goods and raised an incredible $210.66 🎉 (before subtracting material costs)! 💵

In the afternoon, everyone had fun together playing Duck Duck Goose 🦆🦢 a simple game that showed just how much laughter, teamwork, and encouragement leadership can bring.

We are so proud of our campers for growing into leaders, not only for today, but for the future. ❤️

🎨✨ EUEC Summer Camp 2025 – Day 2 Recap! ✨🎶

Today was all about Arts & Express Day, and our campers shined with their creativity! 🌟
- In the morning, we traveled through the history of art, from cave paintings to modern masterpieces. 🖼️
- Campers sculpted their own busts, carefully shaping and designing figures that reflected their imagination. 🏺✋
- In the afternoon, we went out to a near park for a nature walk. we then sat in a circle, reflected on some nature and also played octupus tag! So fun! 🎵💃🐙

It was such a joyful day filled with color, creativity, and connection. We loved seeing how each camper expressed themselves in their own unique way! 💙

🌟 EUEC Summer Camp 2025 – Day 1 Recap! 🌟

Today was our very first day at camp, and what an amazing start it was! 💙
- Campers got to know each other and learned about our camp mission.
- Team leaders introduced themselves and guided groups in creating their own rules poster.
- Everyone decorated a leaf for our Belong Tree, symbolizing community and connection.
- Although the rain cancelled our planned nature walk, campers had extra fun decorating their camp kit boxes together!

It was a meaningful start filled with belonging, creativity, and teamwork. We’re so excited for the rest of the week! 🙌
