Our 8th Annual Miramichi SPCA Food Truck Feastival is officially in the books, and we can confidently say that THIS WAS BY FAR OUR BEST YEAR YET! ❤️
Every year, we hope to grow this event, bring something new to the community, and make it bigger and better than the year before. This year exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be more grateful!
First and foremost, THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY! To every single person who came out, enjoyed some delicious food, shopped with our vendors, participated in our activities, purchased auction or 50/50 tickets, or simply stopped by to show their support — THANK YOU! Seeing so many people come together for a fun-filled day while supporting the animals in our care means more to us than you could ever know. ❤️
Of course, an event of this size doesn't happen without an incredible amount of support behind the scenes, and we have some very special people and organizations to recognize!

🚑 St. John Ambulance: Thank you for being on-site and helping ensure everyone had a safe and enjoyable day. What an incredible organization, filled with people who generously give their time to help others. We are so grateful to have you involved!
🎓 NBCC: A huge thank-you for providing some absolutely fantastic students from your Corrections program to lend a hand! They were such a wonderful addition to our team, and their hard work and willingness to jump in wherever needed were so appreciated!
🎁 To every business and individual who donated items to our auction: THANK YOU! Your generosity helped make our auction such a wonderful part of the day. Every single contribution, big or small, helped us raise much-needed funds for the animals.
🚚 To all our food trucks and market vendors: Thank you for being part of this year's Feastival! You are such a huge part of what makes this event special. We appreciate the time, preparation, and hard work that goes into participating, and we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
🎶 To our musicians, entertainers, children's activity providers, and everyone who helped bring the fun to life: Thank you for creating such a fantastic atmosphere and helping make the day enjoyable for families of all ages!
❤️ And to our SPCA staff and Board of Directors: Thank you for the countless hours of planning, organizing, coordinating, and working behind the scenes to pull everything together. There is so much work that goes into an event like this that most people never see, and every bit of it matters.
The truth is, we simply COULD NOT have done this without all of you.
We are a small animal shelter with big dreams, and events like this remind us just how fortunate we are to be surrounded by a community that continues to show up for us and the animals who need our help.
Our goal has always been to make the Food Truck Feastival more than just a fundraiser. We want it to become an event that families look forward to every year, something that continues to grow, brings our community together, supports local businesses, and, most importantly, helps us care for animals in need.
And believe us, we're already dreaming up ways to make next year even BIGGER and BETTER! 🐾🍂
