🧵 A Creative Day at the Miramichi Quilt Guild!

Today, our members gathered for a fun and creative jacket workshop!

Using a variety of fabrics, colours, and patterns, everyone has been working on their own unique scrappy jacket. It's wonderful to see how differently each project comes together, even when everyone is following the same workshop.

Workshops like this are just one of the benefits of belonging to the Miramichi Quilt Guild. Along with our regular meetings and weekly sew days, members have opportunities to learn new techniques, try different projects, share ideas, and enjoy time with fellow sewing and quilting enthusiasts.

Whether you're an experienced quilter or just beginning your creative journey, there's always something new to discover.

It's Social Night, and we're looking forward to another evening of creativity and conversation!

Members are invited to bring along a project they're currently working on. Whether it's quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, or another craft, Social Night is an opportunity to make some progress on your projects while enjoying the company of fellow members.

We'd love to meet you! Our Social Nights are open to visitors who would like to learn more about the guild, meet our members, and see what we're all about.

No quilting experience is necessary, and new members are always welcome.

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from the Miramichi Quilt Guild!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we'd like to extend our warmest wishes to our members, their families, and the Miramichi community.

We're grateful for the creativity, friendship, and sense of community that bring us together through quilting.

🧵 Quilting for a Special Cause

Members of the Miramichi Quilt Guild spent today sewing small quilts to be donated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Miramichi Regional Hospital.

These quilts will be provided to some of the tiniest patients and their families during their hospital stay.

We're grateful to everyone who contributed their time, materials, and sewing skills to this meaningful project.
