🟥 Red Dress Day – May 5 🟥
Today, the Student Union honours Red Dress Day, a National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+).
The red dress is a powerful symbol representing the lives lost and the voices silenced, while also calling on all of us to listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities.
We encourage students to take time today to reflect, engage in meaningful conversations, and show support by wearing red.
We remember. We honour. We stand together.
