💚 World Mental Health Day | October 10th
2026 Theme - "Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change."

On , we are reminded that meaningful change begins with listening. At Humana, we believe that people with lived experience are experts in their own experiences, and their insights are essential to shaping the supports, services, and decisions that affect their lives.

What does meaningful engagement look like?

🌱 Listening to people’s experiences, needs, and priorities
🌱 Involving people with lived experience in designing and improving mental health services
🌱 Supporting peer-led approaches and the power of connection
🌱 Challenging stigma and advocating for compassionate, person-centred care
🌱 Ensuring everyone has access to the support they need to live and thrive in their communities

Today, and every day, we are committed to creating spaces where lived experience is valued and people are active partners in shaping their mental health journeys.

💚 Real voices. Shared decisions. Real change.

What if your next role could be more than a job? 💛

Humana is looking for caring, compassionate to join our team, supporting children and youth as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Sometimes, making a difference isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about showing up.
Listening without judgement.
Sitting beside someone on a hard day.
Celebrating the little wins.
And reminding a young person: "you’re not alone."

If you lead with empathy, bring your whole heart to your work, and believe in the incredible potential of every young person, we’d love to hear from you. 📩

Come do work that matters, with people who care. 🌱

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Today, we wear orange to honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the impacts of the residential school system on Indigenous families and communities.

Today is an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect, and commit to building relationships grounded in respect, understanding, and action. 🧡

Did you know that "on average, women spend four more hours per week caring for adults and eight more hours per week caring for children, in comparison to men. This means women have less time to be able to work full-time, earn more money throughout their careers, or even just take a break." Facts, stats, and impact: Gender equality, 2026, Government of Canada.

This gender equality week, it's important to highlight the gaps and inequalities women and minorities are still facing in 2026. Have important conversations and be advocates for yourself and others.
