Collective bargaining without the right to strike is just collective begging. The government is proposing new powers to end legal strikes and force workers back to work. That takes away one of the most powerful tools workers have to win better wages, safer workplaces and a fair deal.

SCAM ALERT!
Folk Canada found several social media profiles impersonating them. These fake accounts are selling conference registrations and booth space that don't exist. Don't send them money, and don't share your payment or personal information with them.

How to spot the fakes:
Their real profile has a long history of posts and updates, thousands of them, and over 5,000 followers. If an account claiming to be Folk Canada looks new, has few posts, or has a small following, it isn't them.

The only place to register:
Registrations are only sold through www.folkcanada.com. They would never ask you to register or pay through direct message, a third-party link, or any other website.

Every Folk Canada staff member and contractor uses an email address ending in .com.
