Your support, generosity and dedication have helped us raise $146,000 (and counting!) for multiple myeloma research at LHSC’s Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre.

Whether you walked, donated or volunteered—you made an impact. Your efforts bring hope to patients and families fighting this disease.

We can’t wait to see you again next year! Until then, let’s keep fighting for a cure.

We had blue skies and lots of sunshine at the Walk of Champions in Dorchester today. At least 350 people attended the event in person. Over $146,000 was raised online & in person (including $10,000 matching funds from Canada Life). Wow!!!!! That is amazing. Dr. Louzada spoke about how the money raised at the Walk is being used to benefit Myeloma patients here in London. Hope everyone had a great time.

Last year a lot of folks arrived just before 11 making it difficult to process everyone in time for the warm-up and patient photo. Everyone needs to be checked off the list if they registered online or sign a waiver if they did not.
If you have cash or cheques take them to the donation table.
Bring lawn chairs, water bottles and jacket.
Bubbles & face painting are available for the kids.
Doggy treats and poo bags available.
Check out the Silent Auction pics on the website.
Purchase tickets for the raffle prizes at the raffle table.
Free Starbucks coffee and tea plus water for water bottles.
Free apples, granola bars, cookies and chocolate drink.
Hang around after you walk for the cheque presentation to Dr. Louzada and enjoy some lunch from the Ciao Food Truck.
Photographers will be available to take a Team photo.

Congratulations to the Canada Life Team "Pirates of the Cure-abbean" for raising over $10,000 which will be matched by Canada Life. Myeloma Walk of Champions total raised so far online is almost $44,000 (including $10,000 matching funds) with 114 registered and 22 teams.
