We’re proud to welcome the London Classic Yearling Sale to the J-AAR Expo Centre!

The Standardbred community has long been part of the Western Fair District story, and we’re excited to see that connection continue here.
From the people who raise them to the people who work alongside them, every yearling comes with a story- one built on passion, expertise and a deep connection to the industry.

We’re proud to host a space where the agriculture and equine communities come together, and to be part of another chapter in Ontario’s Standardbred industry. ❤️

10 days of Fair fun = a whole lot of impact.
This year, we took a few steps toward a greener Western Fair, and the numbers are pretty cool:
💧 6,052,873 mL of water dispensed through our free refill stations - the equivalent of 12,105 plastic water bottles.
♻️ 17,894 kg of food waste collected through our new green-waste diversion pilot and diverted for composting.
And this is just the beginning!
We’re taking what we learned in 2026 and looking ahead to the 150th Western Fair in 2027, with a goal to divert 100,000 pounds of waste.

A little look at what community can look like. ❤️
We were proud to support Harvest Hands as they brought their Fall Harvest Community Giveaway to Queen’s Park.
From potatoes and onions to carrots, cookies and crackers, food was shared with community members throughout the afternoon!

We’re grateful for the work Harvest Hands is doing to make good food more accessible and bring people together through initiatives like this one.

🎡💕

Sometimes, a Fair moment makes its way a little further than you expect. ❤️
When we shared a photo of Claudio and Carmen as part of our thank-you to Cascades Casino London and OLG for supporting Seniors Get In Free, the comments started rolling in.
“Claudio and Carmen!”
“They look great!”
And lots of people sharing how happy they were to see them.
There was just one tiny detail: Claudio and Carmen don’t even have social media.

Then, a few days later, our team got a call from Claudio. A relative in Rome had seen the post, recognized them immediately and called to tell him all about it!

Claudio also told us that he and Carmen have been coming to the Fair for years.
So we printed out the post and made sure they got a copy during the 2026 Fair - a little piece of the moment they never would have seen online otherwise.

Because community has a funny way of finding you!❤️
And sometimes, it even travels from London to Rome and back again.
