Today, we recognize Dr. Victor Han for more than 27 years of leadership at Children’s Health Research Institute (CHRI).

Since 1999, Dr. Han has helped build and lead CHRI into a nationally recognized centre for paediatric research and innovation. Through his vision and leadership, CHRI has advanced groundbreaking discoveries, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research that is shaping the future of children’s healthcare.

His contributions have helped strengthen London’s position as a leader in paediatric research while supporting generations of scientists, clinicians, and innovators dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families.

We are proud to celebrate Dr. Han’s extraordinary impact on paediatric research.💙

In 2011, Hunter, experienced a severe E. coli infection and was rushed to Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC).

What followed were two months no parent ever forgets. Hunter's dad, Roger, slept beside his son’s hospital bed, witnessing the extraordinary skill, honesty, and compassion from the care team surrounding his child.
