What a wonderful evening at the **London Public Library, Jalna Branch** for our **Let's Talk Money: Savings and Investment Basics** session!

It was inspiring to see so many community members come together to learn about RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs, RDSPs, and practical ways to build a stronger financial future. The thoughtful questions and engagement from participants made for an excellent discussion.

A sincere thank you to our partners at **RBC** and **London Public Library** for their continued commitment to financial literacy and community education. These sessions help empower individuals and families with the knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a great conversation. Together, we are building a more informed and financially confident community.

The internet has transformed the way we learn, connect, and communicate. It has also created new challenges that many people and families are struggling to understand.

Join RRAI for an important awareness session:

**Understanding P**n Addiction in the Digital Age**

Presented by **Ernest Johnson, Mental Health Expert**

This session will explore the psychological impacts of excessive po*******hy consumption, how digital platforms can influence behaviour, warning signs of problematic use, and healthy approaches to prevention, support, and recovery.

This is a thoughtful and educational discussion designed to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and promote mental well-being in an increasingly digital world.

RRAI is pleased to present an educational session on the Dog Owners' Liability Act and the Dangerous Dogs Tribunal, led by Arman Hakobyan. This session will help dog owners and community members better understand their rights, responsibilities, potential liabilities, and the legal processes that may arise when dog-related incidents occur.

A special thank you to Samantha Glass and the Young Racialized Professionals Network (YRPN) for their collaboration and support in making this session possible. Partnerships like these help ensure that important legal information reaches the communities that need it most.

Knowledge is often the best leash, it keeps problems from running too far ahead of us.

Eid Al-Adha Mubarak from all of us at RRAI.

May this blessed occasion bring peace, health, and happiness to you and your loved ones. Eid is a time of compassion, generosity, reflection, and community, values that remind us of the importance of supporting one another and building stronger, more caring societies.

Wishing everyone celebrating a joyful and peaceful Eid filled with family, friendship, and good food that will absolutely lead someone to say, “I only had one plate,” despite overwhelming archaeological evidence to the contrary.

RRAI welcomes the launch of CN Railroaders for Change, a new 10-year, $100 million commitment focused on homelessness prevention across Canada.

Homelessness is a complex challenge that affects individuals, families, and entire communities. Addressing it requires long-term investment, collaboration, research-informed solutions, and a commitment to restoring dignity and opportunity for those facing housing insecurity.

We commend CN for recognizing that safe and thriving communities begin with ensuring that people have access to stable housing and the supports they need to succeed.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this initiative will have in communities across the country.

Happy Victoria Day from all of us at RRAI.

Today is a reminder of the many histories, traditions, and communities that continue to shape Canada. Whether you are spending the day with family, friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment and some long-weekend sunshine, we hope you have a safe and restful holiday.

Community is built in small ways too, conversations, shared meals, public parks, and the mysterious Canadian ritual of deciding it is suddenly “BBQ season” even while wearing a winter jacket.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Victoria Day weekend.
